Picked up a few bottles from my local BWS.

Here is a little video review of kopparberg pear cider (or perry).

Enjoy!!!

  • Shows as 2 for $13 in QLD where are you located? May even be a store specific clearance price.

    Edit: 3 for $12 I can get

    • NSW, I selected a few stores nearby, all of them had $10 for 3, but in the cart it shows up at $9 for 3, and $3 for every bottle after that.

Try adding that to the cart and see what price you get on the checkout.

      • Thanks, should keep the kids quiet for the weekend.

        • +1

oh dear… but are you sure!? Cider has a relatively high sugar content compared to some other beverages, so I'm not sure your plan will work…. !?

    • +1

Still a good deal I reckon.

    • Same

  • +1

Showing as 3 for $12 for me as well (QLD). No deal!

    • -1

Still a good deal I reckon, but whatever floats your boat :)

  • +1

    Got 9 bottles .. thanks

    • You're welcome :)

    • Good deal?

  • +1

Yeah, 2 for $13 for me, in NSW

    • Try adding one more in the cart, see if that changes the amount at checkout

      • I did, i had 3 in the cart for all 4 different varieties, comes up as $17.25 for 3

        • Which store? I picked 6 up from Parra.
Try different stores, that may work.

  • i tried Hornsby and Berowra, same result

    • You might need to sign in to your Everyday Rewards account to avail the offer, I just checked Berowra and Hornsby, both showing $9 for 3 bottles at checkout. Hope this helps.

      • +1

Yeah, it seems to work if you create an account. Cheers.

        • Cheers!!!

  • Got 9 bottles for $29.25 in QLD. It was showing as $27 until I selected my location which bumped the price up a little.

    • Sorry it bumped up the price a tad bit, $29.25 for 9 is still a good deal I reckon.

      • Yep still a good deal. Thanks for the heads up.

        • Cheers!

    • Confirm that price in Brisbane.
      $3.25ea with larger orders.

  • +3

It showed up as 2 $10 for me but when I added 3 to the cart it came up as $9. I kept adding and found that it gets cheaper the higher you go. You can only order a max of 14 which comes up to $31.50 or $2.25 each. My local store only had 12 on hand so that's what I got (for $27) but still pretty happy. Thanks, Op!

Forgot to add, I'm located in NSW and did not log in to my everyday rewards account.

    • Max in order depends on number available in store. My local only has 3!

  • +1

Shows up as 3 for $12 in Melbourne.

  • +1

QLD, logged in shows 2 for $13 or $7.50ea.

    Added 3 & shows 3 for $12!
    Additional bottle was $4
Drops to $3.25ea with larger orders
    8 for $26 etc.

  • 6 for $39 here NSW

  • Thanks OP. Took a little while to find stores that had stock, when I did I added a few more bottles and found the price was $9 for 3 but then went down to $2.25 each when I added more, like Laurana above screenshot
All up, a very good saving!

  • What the sugar content, find some ciders are enhanced by large amount of sugar

    • +7

      These are liquid sugar.

    • +7

These are lolly waters not ciders, full of sugar

      • +6

Absolutely. Should not be legal to call it cider. It’s just garbage.

    • +2

It is full of sugar mate. A 500ml bottle of Kopparberg strawberry contains around 53 grams of sugar… That is about 13 teaspoons of sugar.

  • +2

Nice one. The magic number seems to be 8? I just added 8 for $18 - brilliant deal!

  • Thanks. I think I have emptied my local store haha

  • 3 for $12 here in SA, and $3 per bottle after that, so good deal. Even though I prob won't pick any up I still love a good price "glitch". Good work OP.

  • -2

These are OK, but much prefer Sidra del verano, albeit harder to get.

  • +2

I'm in NSW. I just got 12 for $27! Just $2.25 per bottle mixed fruits only …. very happy Thanks OP :)

  • Which flavour is the best?
Want to try so I am looking for a store that stocked all flavours but seems the stores nearby just stocked 1-2 flavours

  • I think strawberry and lime and mixed berries are the only ones one sale

  • +1

I get the 7% hard cider cans; $30 for 12 cans. Works out cheaper per litre than the bottles, plus $1.20 back for the empty cans from SA bottle depots.

    • +2

Noticed a glitch if you add more than 2 6packs of the hard cider. It comes down to $39.45 for 3 and $52.60 for 4 6packs(case).
$60 on special bws and Dan's.

      • +13

Thank you for this in-cider information.

        • +1

I’m definitely unde-cidered on which ones to buy now. Decisions, decisions.

  • 7 for $15.75… lets see if order honoured.

    • +1

I did click and collect and just picked it up. There were 3 for $9 signs in the store so it should be good!

  • Wa I'm only getting 8 bottles for 26 :( still a good day thanks op(strawberry and lime)

  • Cheapest i can get the price/bottle is $3.25 in SA but it only goes that low once you hit 7 bottles for $22.75 not too bad still but not as good as others here

  • Very odd, my local BWS shows then as $3.50 each, but when you add quantity the price increases. 4 for $16

  • This is because it's Cider Day at BWS and there are offers for a few varieties.

  • $27 for 12 bottles for me. Thanks op.

  • Picked up 3 bottles today and just tried it. It's ok but not as good as the Rekorderlig IMHO

  • +1

    Very weird pricing glitch

Added 6 of the strawberry & lime to my cart and it comes up as $24

Added 1 of the mixed fruit and the strawberry & lime price changes to $19.50 so total price becomes $22.75

    • Did the same thing for me in NSW and it worked.

      Kopparberg apple & passionfruit 500ml 1 bottle @ $6.75
      Kopparberg strawberry and lime 500ml 3 bottles @ $6.75
      Kopparberg mixed fruit cider 500ml 3 bottles @ $6.75
      Total $20.25

Thought of going for 12 for $27 - $2.25 but decided against it as was getting looks from the OH.
So went with 8 for $20.25 - $2.90 each ($0.65c dearer per bottle)

  • I just grabbed some, thanks OP

  • +1

Thanks OP. Found some interesting logic here, when you add more than 6 bottles. The each price will be $2.25.

Bought 14 bottles to work out $31.5 to get 1000 rewards point when spend $30+. Nice to check everyday rewards deal see if any promotion for spending $30+ to get 1000 rewards points.

Never tried it before, but for this price can't go wrong I think :-).

  • +1

Picked up some bottles from BWS Gordon and they are all expired. Struggling for a refund now. Be careful!

    • +1

OMG, expired? I may need double check when I pick up. Thanks for the information.

    • They will be fine just gotta smash them down

  • +2

I DONT NEED TO BUY I DONT NEEED TO BUY I DONT NEED TO BUYYYYYYYYY

  • +1

18 bottles for $40.50 for me ‘saved’ $94.50.

  • Nice find. It shows 2 for $13 promo even when logged in to BWS app, but after adding 3 bottles to the shopping cart it gave me checkout price of $9. Filled the cart with 12 bottles and total was only $27!!!

  • Bought 3 for $9! Super awesome deal

  • +3

Ah this reminds me of when I used to pick three of these up for £5 from Tesco when I used to live in the UK.

    Cheers OP!

  • +1

Tried these, but still much prefer a Dickens Cider.

  • $4 a bottle for me but still a good deal, thanks OP

  • I'm in WA and I cannot see that specific deal. There is however 6 pack of 440ml cans for $18.50 or 2 six packs for $30

  • Physically picked up this afternoon the 18 bottles I ordered the other day; July/August 2021 'expiry' date.
