Yeah its a lot, but I'm desperate as for a 6800. The problem is after talking to him he won't show me the card running once i go and have a look at it. Am i just being overly cautious? He says its got 3 year warranty and never has been run before. Should i go for it?

Run away, if they won't show you the card running there's a good chance it isn't.
Once they've got your cash they won't want to know you.
It's abit strange that its never been run before unless its in an unopened box and brand new ?
It's been opened but never used, Defo strange.
If they’re not willing to show you it running that’d put me off. Never take gumtree/fb marketplace sellers at their word.
Just put yourself into their shoes, would you refuse to show the card working if there was nothing wrong?
EDIT: I also insist on a receipt being provided when buying second hand. It helps filter out the dodgy sellers. For such a new card there’s not many reasons they wouldn’t still have it.
Guy says he will let me bring my PC to test it, so maybe not a scam after all. Thoughts yall?
