You need to recharge on 365 days option before 29/2/2012 and yes this is leap year!!

yeh, really good for people on Vodafone with young kids. they can have the sim and can call you for free!

i think "infinite" is worse than "unlimited". "infinite calls" is suggesting that i could somehow make an unbounded number of calls
The Vodafone Fair Use Policy is vague and doesn't specify any hard limits or examples:

I'd wager once you run out of credit (ie texting/other networks) recharging 30 bux wont give you unlimited calls etc. i have no idea, just something to look out for.

Make sure you still have some remain credit when you make a call.
Have somebody had the same experience that you have free call but no credit so you couldn't make a call?

Strange thing is I got A $30 recharge for my Telstra prepaid longlife plan early last year and it gave me 1 year of credit. Even though the web site says you must buy minimum $30 for 6 month and $60 for 1 year of credit.

Telstra used to offer 12 months Long Life. They no longer do, unless you were lucky enough to take them up on the offer and recharge yearly for 30 dollars on the old deal (which I'm doing :)
So the minimum these days is $60 per year for Telstra: 30 per 6 months.

How do you choose the 365 day option? AFAIK i have always just dialed in the recharge voucher code into the talking robot-lady and it expries after a month automatically. Do i have to do something different to get the 365 day option?
Yes, you need to select the prepaid plan for 365 days. See their website and then call the call centre to change it before you recharge.
It gives you the option if you stay on the phone after keying the code.
No need to call cust service for that!
I'd prefer Infinite Calls Voda 2 Yoda.

Wait a sec, I thought Voda 2 Voda has always been free. So what do I get new that I didn't get already with the normal $30 recharge with 365 day option?
I believe the $30 365day recharge come with 150mins allocated. So with this special you should get infinite/unlimited calls to other vodafone mobiles for the 365days as per terms already listed in other comments or voda website.
I'll give voda one thing, they at least roll over your free v2v minutes from recharge to recharge…and you get more depending on how much you recharge with!
IIRC I have a couple of thousand minutes of free v2v clocked up…now if only the network was stable enough to use them! :p
Recharged and got 150mins V2V. Maybe they're not bothering to change the announcements and sms confirmation message?

Recharged this arvo, when my V2V time was 0 minutes. SMS says I have 150 V2V minutes. Since then made a few calls to Vodafone phones, rechecked and I've still got 150 V2V minutes. Yay ;)
