  OP, is the shaft on this one plastic or metal? Picked up an ultrasonic for the kids from Aldi a few weeks back, and the vibrations and noticeably not as strong as my Philips Sonicare, I believe due to the shaft being plastic and as a result not transferring vibration to the head as well.

  Also, where do you get your replacement heads from?

    By shaft, I assume you mean the prong thing that comes out of the main body that you stick the replaceable brush onto? If so, yes it's a sturdy metal prong. Mrs complaining it's a PIA to change the brush heads because it's affixed so good.
