  Anybody know what makes this kitten / puppy food? What would happen if you fed it to an adult pet?

    I could be wrong, but I think puppy/kitten food may have a higher fat content to help them grow. Possibly if you give it to an adult pet you just make it a fat good doggo or kitty.

  Your mileage may vary but yesterday I was having issues getting this to work online (wouldn't add to cart) so rocked up to one of their stores and ask if they would match the deal. They did, no questions asked.

  Not missing much not getting this… ingredients 2, 3, 4 are all grains / fillers. Very average dog food with plenty of marketing nonsense.

  Anyone know where to get Advance Medium Puppy food on a good bargain? We just picked some up at petbarn on 30% off a little while ago, but should have bought more…. this puppy gained 1kg last week!

  Yes it may be a deal but as far as quality goes it's not far from what you would expect to get at the supermarket.

  Signed up for an account because I've seen too many posts now to not put in my 2 cents. Veterinarian here and it frustrates me every time I see a deal like this come up and people say how Hills is poor quality… I think the people saying it are trying to help as they've been led to believe that, but it's wrong so thought I'd chip in.

  My advice for all my clients is really just what I do for my own animals - I feed nothing but Hills or Royal Canin dry food (plus things to help clean teeth).

    My cats have sensitive stomachs and our vet recommended hills to us and it stops them being gassy.
    Never even knew Hills had a bad reputation!

  Missed out! They still have a discount offer but the hills kitten food (4kg) bags is out of stock now sadly. It is $53 now but was $34 on special which was a really great deal!
