Hi got this and scales and been using for 2 months. I’m impressed with the quality of both and how seamless the app is. The Bluetooth connection is instant each time I open the app and the read from scales and measurer to app is the same. Sure can do the same thing with a regular tape (and manually input into app) but this does it’s job simpler.
The only weak point (but for the price and other features…) in the setup is the body scanner component. I’d like to know how much of the scanner results are the scan itself, and how much is just standard calcs based on height / weight. Eg I expect some of the stat trends should be moving differently.
I have the scales. On Samsung phone it asks me to turn on the location before it will connect to the scale. Is there anyway I can avoid it?

No, because a Bluetooth scan can be used to gather information that can determine your location.

Sure it’s a giant waste of money if you don’t measure yourself but if you do want to (eg weight loss program, body recoup, general gym big boy) it’s great to have. I have it with scales and find it very useful since i am doing a program amd use scales everyday and tape weekly. Simple to use and the app quickly stores data directly from app through to the program app I’m using. trends very handy. If you think jotting it down on paper or maintaining a spreadsheet is better - I tried and found it is not, IMO.
