Great little mouse
I use it on a couple of laptops via bluetooth and can use the quick switch button on the bottom to swap to 3 different machines.
Has turned in to my preferred gaming mouse too

Pushing the wheel left or right does give button responses for me in Linux, is that what you are talking about?
I have mouse buttons:
- 1 (left)
- 2 (middle) [activated by button south of the scroll wheel]
- 3 (right)
- 4 scroll wheel up
- 5 scroll wheel down
- 6 push scroll wheel LEFT
- 7 push scroll wheel RIGHT
- 8 lower button, left side
- 9 upper button, left side
This is the mouse I like the most without remapping buttons, the middle button is better being south of the scroll wheel; pressing down on the scroll wheel starts or stops fast scroll.
- other Logitech mouse versions swap this behaviour and it is very annoying for me.
Fantastic mouse, battery life lasts months for me. I just have it in bag and whip it out whenever I sit down to work for more than 10 minutes, works on any surface and connects instantly via Bluetooth.
The Anywhere 2S has been a reliable mouse for years - quick connection everytime I turn it on. Can also use with Logitech USB universal receiver.
The historic low of this is under $50.
