Instant Pot Duo Crisp $299 Delivered @ Costco (Membership Required)

60

Some may say this is not a deal or a bargain, but considering it includes postage and undercuts Amazon by $50, I think it's worth a mention.
It's not an ATL price compared to the two previous Amazon deals, but a solid every day price.

Anyone had any experience with these sorts of things?
Does it airfry well? Or is it another one of those cases where it tries to do both things, and then doesn't do either well.

      Better to get seperate appliances.

    • The duo Nova is a great slow cooker/pressure cooker.

      Not sure about this one

      I own one. I think it's great.

I bought this to replace my $59 Aldi Air fryer, $29 Kmart crock pot slow cooker and to alleviate the microwave from cooking rice. I also got some bonus niche functions such as sous vide and pressure cook.

I have used it for all of the tasks mentioned above and I can say that it performs them all quite well. It's not going to air fry as good as a Phillips XXL at $339; which my fiend owns. I've seen him cook an entire 1.2 kg packet of honey soy sliced pork belly from Costco in about 18 minutes, and it turned out amazing. You wont do that in this device.

But for my use-case, it is ideal. I prefer to cook meat in my Kamado. To me, an air fryer is for reheating leftovers and frozen products. To that end, it does a great job.

Having said that, It does a pretty good whole chicken. 22mins in the pressure cooker, change the lid, 10 minutes on air fryer. I don't think any appliance on the market will produce as good a result in that half an hour.
