Be nice if the post title included the name of the store instead of some JUMP FOR JESUS proselytising sales pitch

    • :) Lol ..No worries, thanks for the feedback, will take into consideration for next post. I'm not sure its right to change it now.

Agree with this - if OP is going to spruik the service here, it might be worth actually telling us why we'd buy this more expensive product over every other meal service in the country.

BIG WORDS and LOTS!!! of exclamation marks screams RIP OFF to me, or at best, a real PROBLEM with English GRAMMAR!!!

      • We are not here to rip off, merely promote a very clean product at a very competitive price.

Sorry to overwhelm you with the exclamation marks, will keep that in mind next time.

Why Would you buy this product? which comes down to approx. $6.99 per meal
As mentioned here are the reasons why again.

Our Meals are specifically formulated by an
        - Accredited Practicing Dietitian
        - Michelin Star & Hatted Chefs

Furthermore, our meals are so clean and healthy that we use this model:
        - No Preservatives
        - No Refined Sugar
        - No artificial colours or flavours
        - Balanced Macronutrients

        Hope this helps

$6.99 per meal? There's plenty of alternatives at a lower price.

Dietitians and Michelin hat 'formulation'? What does that even mean? Are you using Michelin hat ingredients, or did the company just pay a few grand to a couple of people to make sure the meals don't induce food poisoning?

'So clean and healthy' - how is this different from competitors? I can drop into Aldi today and buy a whole bunch of home brand frozen meals without preservatives and refined sugar. This isn't 1985, where microwave meals taste like old shoe, so this isn't anything remarkable.

So no, copy/pasting the same generic and vague comments about your dime a dozen product doesn't help. Actually, I take that back, it does help - help convince me not to waste any more time on this service.

@punkindrublic: These aren't frozen meals. They are delivered fresh with attention to nutrition (i.e. a lot of the meals even the vegetarian are high protein). Apples and oranges. Obviously frozen food is cheaper than fresh perishable food?

Their closest competition are companies like Macros.com.au and MyMuscleChef. Potentially Dineamic, Thrive and Youfoodz (but those companies aren't quite the same - they have much smaller portions / more weight loss focussed rather than fitness).

Their full price is about on par with their competition. And the 30% discount makes it significantly cheaper than equivalent offerings.

            • @wanderworld: The company reps should follow your example in how to explain the benefits of the product! That's not meant to be sarcastic either - a plain english summary like this is what is going to persuade ozbargainers that this is worth their consideration, whereas reverting to the PR guff makes it sound like OP has no real idea what he/she is trying to sell.

Perhaps I'm just spoiled by some of the company reps who come here. The Amino Z guy was great, spending a huge amount of time answering questions about his products, giving reasonably frank and honest justifications for why his wares were worth a go compared to other companies, etc. Basically just communicating like a normal person rather than a corporate robot, hence why I ended up trying them out. So I don't come across as a shill, I'll note that not all their products were worth a second try (e.g. the mango flavour of their pre-workouts was way too overwhelming), but a number of products did live up to the hype and I will purchase them again in future.

When there's ample examples here of reps cultivating honest and personable relations with ozbargainers, I get infuriated whenever someone just sort of blows in with what seems like pre-written text off a website or marketing document, and then keeps repeating it when they're asked basic questions. Like "why am I spending money on your stuff, and not the other guy's stuff?"…

              • +1

@punkindrublic: I agree it isn't the most polished marketing - but also it doesn't seem offensively bad.

I see something like this and just imagine it's a small company / startup, that doesn't have anyone who specialises in communications / marketing. Probably it's one of the chefs / dieticians posting here. Maybe trying to make an alternative income after a restaurant was no longer viable to run. The website seems to have a few little bugs and I imagine it's for the same reason. Really I'm more concerned about their ability to make food anyway!

Amino Z is more established now so I'd expect them to have a more polished approach.

y'all need bigger meal sizes, guys, seriously. ~300g and ~300cal? are these for school children?

  • Please check the All Meals > Larger Meals Section on the website?
There is a section dedicated to Larger meals 400g and 450g
    https://fastfuelmeals.com.au/product-category/large-meals/

  • How long will this deal run?

The people giving you a hard time mustn't have looked into fresh meal delivery before / maybe not your audience.
Your portions / pricing are in line with the market.

As feedback - I am having issues with images loading on your website. I seem to have to view individual meals before their image thumbnail will load in the store. If it's not just me, maybe could put some people off browsing.

  • Additional feedback - it seems to allow selecting a delivery date weeks into the future. But do you change your menu? So should it be limited to just the next week (or two)?
