I believe this is the new version (2020+) has USB-C but no AUX input.

Another cheaper option with better battery, I think is this:
https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B016XTADG2Black version is cheaper.
I use this version and the battery life is insanely good. Very happy with the audio clarity too.
Is it a good price?
Also comparitively it states 3w output as compared to 20w on speaker on OPs post.I payed about $50 when i got it 2 years ago and am pleased with the value. I usually have it fairly quiet but it goes louder than I would need.
Wanted a cheap speaker to live on my office desk that wouldn't catch too many eyes.
My only gripe is, there's a high pitch whining noise if I try to charge via USB and AUX-in from the same PC. Not really an issue though as the battery is so large, and I can blutooth from my phone when I need to charge.
Just upgraded this to the boost on black Friday sales… Boost is heaps better sound and I'm still surprised at how long the battery lasts.
I recently bought this one (Soundcore 1) and for some reason only get mono when using the aux-in (stereo when Bluetoothed). Have tried multiple sources and cables. Anker support can't/won't tell me if this is normal. Can someone test for me if they get stereo out of aux-in?
IA!!I have stereo playback via AUX. Left channel through left speaker, right through right.
Thanks. So it's dodgy :(
@Limbot: Yep… Just tested the AUX on my Soundcore 1 and it's stereo too.
How about this?

Price has been around this for a while according to Camelx3.
"customers who bought this also bought.." Johnny Walker Red Label?
I'm sold!
Does this support Google assistant or Alexa?
I have this, but I am not sure I would recommend it.
I got mine about 2 years ago for $79 (so not sure this is that great of a deal) and I have probably used it a max of 10 times.
It seems like whenever I went to use it it was dead, even if when I last used it, it had a full charge, if its completely dead it won't even work whilst plugged in.
Either it wasn't turning itself off or the battery is draining when not in use. This might be a fault with mine specifically as it does have great reviews.. also Ankers support is usually pretty good if the product is in warranty.
My JBL Flip 3 has recently died (won't charge), so I ended up buying this unit myself after a bit of a look around. Only saw the thread here now!
This guy does great reviews on YouTube, here is his take on this SoundCore Boost (not likely the 2020 model though): https://youtu.be/7R1Lb47IQI8
That review pretty much sold me. In some of the musical samples, it sounds better than the Flip 4, and the bass can always be tweaked in a music app such as Poweramp.
No doubt that the Amazon RRP is a tad inflated, no way you'd pay $150 for this. The best competing price I could see was Tobydeals at $98 or so, and you'd be waiting.
So I reckon this a solid buy at $77. I'd probably lean towards a Flip 4 if there was one in Clearance at this price, but I need something now.
It states "Micro USB charging cable" in the description at the top, but states " USB-C Connectivity Use the included USB-C cable" just below the photo at the bottom.
It would appear from the reviews that as the O.P states it has been upgraded to USB-C and Bluetooth 5.0.
I have 2 Anker bluetooth speakers (not this one) and really love them both, and with 17,000 reviews and 4.6 stars you gotta think this is going to be a good speaker!
