The entire Hitman franchise is discounted on Steam as part of the lunar new year sale; regular price for Hitman (2016) is $101.55 as a bundle and $24.30 right now, but you can get the same content for better than half price with a hack:

1. Get Hitman 2 - Starter Pack for free. This is like a free demo of the first level, but because all the other levels are sold as DLC it counts as owning the game. Steam won't let you check out unless you own the Miami level for Hitman 2 (thanks, zigzagoonmemes).
2. Get Hitman GOTY Legacy Pack DLC for Hitman 2 for $8.98. This contains everything in the original game's GOTY edition, inside Hitman 2.

Hitman 2 adds some new features that remain available in the older levels so it's not exactly the same as buying the 2016 game itself, but I don't think most players will notice (and it might actually be a better experience, I don't know what changes they made).

  Hitman 2 has to have one of the most convoluted releases ever. Not complaining since they have away the non goty legacy pack a while ago.

  Didn't work - I "Added Hitman 2: Starter Pack" to my Library, and then tried to purchase and received this warning:

  Your transaction failed because you are trying to buy 'HITMAN 2 GOTY Legacy Pack' which requires ownership of 'HITMAN™ 2 - Miami'. Please correct the error and try again.

  Someone posted Hitman for free here a while ago. Most got Hitman on Epic now.

    If you also want to buy Hitman 2, it's cheaper to get the DLC version of the original levels than buy both games. Won't work if you only want the original levels.
