Sure thing, AWS Lightsail is a great platform however you really need to have a deep understanding of the underlying Linux operating system and how everything works. Whereas what we are providing in comparison is a platform that is easy to use, purpose built for wordpress and completely managed for you. So all you need to do is use your site and we look after the rest.
Can you explain “not your average host” does this mean it noes not have many features?
Also, why is the Melbourne based support one of the features for Sydney based servers?
We are not your average host in that we aren't trying to cram as many sites on each server as we can. We have strict quality and performance standards that we adhere to internally in order to make sure every site performs optimally.
We are a Melbourne based company so our support is in Melbourne. However Sydney is more centralised across the east coast which gives slightly less network latency for our Brisbane customers than if we hosted in Melbourne.

We are a business and we work completely remotely so we don't have a specific business address and no specific phone number as it does help with support efficiency.
None of our hosting services are white label reseller, all our servers are managed in house as we take our performance very seriously and couldn't achieve our goals as a reseller.

Not bad but not really a bargain. You can get basic 5GB with cPanel for a quarter of that per year.
Let's say you don't want to go bargain basement and potentially unknown intl ones, well Australian providers are around that discounted rate before their discounts anyway.
