  • 5 Days left on both deals. Shame its only DE for AOE 1

  • Note AOE 1 has a glitch that wont load multiplayer games. You can load into a match and it will stay at loading the whole time.

  • Hi guys

Could I play AoE on an average laptop? Love this game!

    Thanks

No, you need a minimum GeForce RTX 3080.

    • yes mate

    • It was made to run on an average 1997 PC.

If it was on steam for this price maybe….

      Well, you're in luck.

      • What would be the difference between here and steam?

        • Different store. Different libraries. Game will play the same.
As much as it pains me, regarding multiplayer Steam is probably the better route but that being said I am not too familiar with multiplayer on the MS Store for PC games.

            @Lysander: thanks OP
            not much into multiplayer games
still trying to understand terms like Steam, DRM free etc
life was simpler in the days of the Atari, when the joystick had just one button :)

            • @docians: I agree. If you prefer SP (as I do), then it does not really matter. Go with whatever you feel most comfortable.
If a game is the same price, I suggest you always go with GOG as they allow you to just download the installation files without the need for a launcher for playing or even downloading (fully DRM-free)
DRM means Digital Rights Management which is really a type of copyright protection and a control mechanism spun by companies as a good thing and something enhancing comfort. My opinion is that it is not true and I hate it when companies attempt to retain control over what I have paid money for.
In the present case, it is up to you really where you buy from.

  • OP could you please repost the link for AoE
