  • Is it a bargain?

regular price is $319. $199USD normally without the pcie riser cable, and approx $225USD with riser normally. This is the first time I've seen the 4.1 unit even on shelves in Australia.

Probably too little too late with all the new high quality competition coming in for much cheaper.

        • I guess that’s why it’s still one of the best selling SFFPC cases on the market.

@TophBeiFong: Not sure what you mean. Still a good case but it finally has competition now and at much lower prices.

Always good to see a case that looks professional and not designed by a 17 year old kid.

100%. I've seen some people ruin it by adding rainbow puke though.

This is a nice case. I looked at it, the Mjolnir, Ghost S1 and the DA2, and ended up with the DA2. Such a nice, stylish case that's running a 3900X and 2070S.

  • That's very schmick.

If I had any spare money to spend on a new computer (which I don't), I'd be giving that a look in.

Definitely a good deal - comes with PCIE Gen 4 riser too.
Won't find anything cheaper in that size/quality i reckon.

But no good if you want > dual slot GPU

As an SFF fan, I'd suggest if you want artistic craftsmanship and pushing the volumn to the limit, then go with Formd T1. If you're on budget but still want something nice and small while having the ability to cater any hardware on the market despite their sizes, then Cooler Master NR200P is the case you're after. T1 is just perfect in terms of craftsmanship as it's completely CNC'd, which brings the premium feel second to none. But the sub-10L volume could be a bit of challenge if you have never had experiences in building such an SFF case. NR200P is more "common" but also easier to get along with, while it's still a very good SFF case - the ability to accommodate most hardwares on the market makes it future-proof. Both are better choices then the original Dan Case A4.

Personally I'm running 5600X@X570 with PCIe Gen4 SSDs + 6800XT in T1 on my desktop. Just whisperly quiet but monster-like performance considering its size.

….Except the Formd T1 is not available in Australia.

    • Yeah where can I buy it and how much? Last time I check it's sold out everywhere.

      • I placed my order on their official site and waited 5 months in the long queue to get it.

        • How much was shipping and the total in the end?

          • @fufufu: Sorry mate the payment record is long gone and I can't find it. But as for as I can recall it's around $300 mark excluding shipping.

  • It's very small isn't it? Almost looks like one of those external GPU units.

  • Nice find, this case is always hard to source.

For anyone who likes this style of case but can't stomach the price the NR200 is a great entry-level ITX case at $109 RRP.

    No pickup option ????

    Lockdown has finished.

Personally waiting for the SSUPD Meshlicious.

    • Did you get in line for the preorder? It was live the other day.

I've hesitated back and forth. I custom built my own tower and I'm content. As long as these cases still have the odd nitpick, I'm not going to commit. I'm yet to find one that I'm at least 80-90% happy with.

      • Nope, was only available for pre-order through Newegg US. Didn't want to use a parcel forwarder etc.

Hopefully it sold in Australian stores.
