The STEAM price right now after Christmas discount of 33% for the same are $46.89 and $53.59 respectively. Best thing is the serial keys from Gamergate for this game is 100 % activate-able on STEAM !

    In the past with gamers gate it has varied with ISP as most 3g connections have for unknown reasons shown (and let you purchase) US prices, which may be the issue.

      Gamersgate have now indeed increased the price now to $16.98 and $20.38 :(. It was $12.85 and $ 14.68 before. I am still using the same ISP to connect my computer. So dont think that's the issue. Gamersgate just increased the price :(.

  Since it's a steamworks games, and it registers on Steam no matter where you buy it:

  Amazon (US) have Deus Ex Human Revolution for US$9.99.

  You just need to have a real US billing (I use an Oregon hotel's) address. Then just copy the code from Amazon and activate on Steam.

    I can confirm this.
    Just bought it with my normal Australian Amazon account, but used a hotel's billing address (I shipped some stuff to my folks in America few weeks back so I used that info).

    You can then view the code in your software library to activate on steam. For $9.99 is a bargain.

    Also: they give you a code for further $5 off next software download between 1 and 31st Jan of 2012!

    All considered this works out to be as cheap as $5 without any proxy workarounds that are needed for Steam US store purchases.

  How are the additional features of the Augmented Edition handled; artbook, documentary et al ? Are they also digital downloads or do you miss out and only get the ingame bonuses?

    They are digital downloads (i.e. PDF books) and therefore sucks. No in game benefits (I think).

      The boxed versions of the AugEd came with an extra mission (Tong's Revenge), 10K extra credits, a silenced sniper rifle and a double barreled shotgun as in-game content.

      Digital distribution copies do not come with the above. If you want the extra items, they are available as pay-for DLC

      Other benefits do come as a pdf/ soundfiles as you mentioned. TY :)
