I'm also interested in the T20. Single head for both hard floors and carpet so you don't need to change.
I'll bite if there is also a good discount available.

  • +1

Hi OP @gearbite.. I thought you mentioned it would be shipped either wed or Thurs for v11. Haven't seen any update yet. Any ETA?

    • I think rep mentioned shipped tomorrow (Im in same boat as you)

      • +1

        I am still waiting… :(

        • Same still waiting…

  • Edit: sorry. Just noticed the same question two posts back.

  • +1

AUS post Shipping info received. not sure where it is shipping from either Melb or Syd

  • I assume these are bagless?

    • Yes they are

  • +1

    Got shipping notification as well.

  • Shipping notification for the V10 woo!

  • +2

So post updated today that these are delayed… even though I got an email from gearbite on Friday 12th that it had shipped? Very confusing… which one is it?

    • The email on Friday from Aus Post should have said it was being prepared.

      • Correct… but after the Aus Post email I also got one from gearbite themselves saying “a shipment is on the way”

        • Ah that is probably just their standard delivery email. Just follow the Aus Post one.

        • Got an email from auspost before about a parcel. Waited all day for it nothing turned up. Later that day got another email it will come next day or day after next.

The following day. 2 of my parcels turn up at the same time.

          • @xoom: see OP comment below.

They readied the Shipping notification even though they had no stock to ship.

  • Anyone else having issues using shopback for the 3.5% cashback? Click on the link to go to Gearbite and it comes up with an error.

  • +1

Anyone received the item? Got an email from Aupost 11/02 said it's being prepared. Today as I checked on Aupost app seems the parcel is still being prepared… Not quite sure if it is in stock and when will it be shipped.

    • Yeah it's a weird one. I think because of the delays with Auspost at the moment there can be delays at the preparing stage. As another user said above, I've once had an item marked as "being prepared" for 3 days and then on the fourth day it was out for delivery and arrived at my house.

All stick vacuum stock has been delay, which was suppose to be available on 10th Feb, but Delay until this Friday(19th Feb). Hopefully can all pick up on Next Monday. We are happy to refund if you can not wait. Sorry for any inconvenience.

      • Why did you mark the orders as shipped and with delivery information with Aus Post?

        • -6

We think stock would be ready and schedule to ship out, so we prepare to sort out orders so we can ship out all orders asap, we did not expect this delay as we have been told with same deliver information. We just get updated information yesterday. Really sorry about this delay.

          • +2

@Gearbite: Bit disappointing as I’m pretty certain the initial post never mentioned the stock you were selling wasn’t readily available…

            • -4

@Chux: We have been advice stock is ready on 10th Feb, but then advice us that they can deliver until this Friday. We did not expect this delay. Really Sorry for this.

              • +7

@Gearbite: Understand this stuff happens; I just suggest more transparency next time. Your initial post didn’t give any indication that you didn’t have the stock on hand, and given this wasn’t stated most people (myself included) would logically assume you had the product ready to go. In essence now we’ve essentially just preordered a vacuum. Marking them as shipped preemptively has also added to confusion for all purchasers. I’ll keep the order and just keep hope that you get them dispatched ASAP; my order specifically is a replacement vacuum for business use

      • Hi OP, how do I get refund please?

        • -4

          Sure.

  • Hi OP,

    Any Xiaomi 34" coming soon?

    Thanks OP

    • -2

      Yes.

      • Thanks OP,

Could you please give me an expected time?

        Thanks

  • Load of shit. I paid for express post, then it's delayed for 2 weeks anyway because no physical stock. Why lie?

    • -1

Sorry for the delay. Please let me know your order, we will refund your express postage.

  • Will you be getting stock and doing a deal on the V9?

  • +6

These delays makes you wonder if you're running a drop shipping business. Selling empty stock with no upfront explanation or even a follow up text/email is poor.

    • -2

No Drop shipping. Just did not expect the delay this time. Push very hard to get this done asap. Sorry for the trouble.

  • +4

In the initial post by OP, the estimated shipping was 10th or 11th - "Ship around this Wednesday or Thursday." That changed to 12th and on 12th, Auspost sent a notification.

I am wondering how does Gearbite not know till Friday evening that they aren't going to ship. And after that, not 1 or 2 days delay - but 7 days delay?? And no email notification for the delay.

Still current status is not clear - "Hopefully can all pick up on Next Monday. " Do they expect to ship on Monday?

    • -2

When they told us that schedule to deliver on 10th Feb, We did not expect the delay, but then they advice that they can not deliver on time. We try to update here once we confirm delay. Really sorry for this delay.

    • same boat here… looks like shipping label has been submitted to AusPost but goods are not ready yet.

      • Same. That’s a bit disappointing. Was hoping to get it this week as was indicated.

  • +1

So you getting stock tmr or what??

  • So much for express shipping

  • +4

I would accept a $50 voucher as apologies from OP as my wife is complaining about this order

  • +2

Unfortunately I’m also in the same boat with the delay
But I’ve also been looking for a pre order link for the carpet head for the V11 (in this sale) which was promised but still can only find the old version. Feel a bit like a bait and switch :( but I still want the product!!!

    • They said that head would be coming late March. So yeah take those dates with a grain of salt now.

  • still waiting for my order! Would be good if Gearbite can let us know if the stock arrived or not…

  • Shame to hear about the delay, didn't receive any email or anything notifying me either. Hopefully service improves and gets delivered soon…

  • +2

Stock still expected to arrive today OP.
My house is very dirty :p

    • +1

Hey Rep, has stock arrived and will it be despatched today?

Feeling like we should have an update…..

      • No we wont have an update till we ask!

    • Yes,we keep communicating with delivery, we have push to get them today, but most likely all can be pick up by post office on Monday.

      • +1

Does that mean the Post office will pick them up fron YOU on monday, WE (customers) can pickup from OUR post ofdice monday?

  • ANY UPDATE? STOCK? POSTAGE? REFUND ? AND YOU REDUCED YOUR PRICE IN YOUR WEBSITE WHEN THERES NO STOCK?

    • -1

Yes,we keep communicating with delivery, we have push to get them today, but most likely all can be pick up by post office on Monday.

    • Confirm that Stock will ready later this afternoon.

      • +1

Hey OP, where are the orders shipping from? (so I can estimate how long it will take for delivery after being shipped)

        • Mulgrave, Melbourne I believe

          • @BenK-Oz: Yes.

            • @Gearbite: I live 2 minutes away from Mulgrave! I wish if you could offer click and collect for locals.. would save you the shipping cost and saves us from waiting longer plus the headache of missed deliveries.
I understand Oh&s and all, but I'm just a bit frustrated with the delay and the lack of communication.

      • So you gonna ship this out today ?

      • +1

Now it’s 19 Feb Friday 19:55 pm already. Still has nothing updated from the AuPost. I’m starting to consider this is a click bait. So on your Gearbite website the item will show sold for a huge amount of numbers meanwhile the actual sold number is quite small cause you’re encouraging buyers to refund here. Have to admit this is clever cause we can’t comment or review on Gearbite to warn future buyers. If this is not what I assume please give us a reasonable explanation. I think we deserve it. And I don’t believe what you have explained before. Who is responsible for this delay? The factory? You are the merchant how can you not know when will the items be in stock? If the stock is not large enough at least some early buyers could receive their vacuums. But for now, seems no one’ order has even been shipped yet.

  • +3

The service from this mob is quite shocking. Don't think I'll be ordering again from here to be honest.

  • +1

So confirming auspost will receive the stock we ordered today? Mines been sitting on prepared since the 12 th. And have read the promises of this product rep. I wanted quick shipping. Even with melbourne lockdown it should of at least gotten here by now. Can we qualify the deal in future from reps if actual stock on hand vs. Ordered drop shopping.

    • Received stock in Our warehouse this afternoon, post office will pick up Monday Morning. Normally we expect stock ready on day but this time was delay, we do not use dropship.

      • Were the orders shipped out today?

        • +1

no, op said they'll get picked up on monday morning

      • +5

I'd accept a free carpet head with my order to compensate the waiting period…

      • +1

Hi OP, if the stock is really there and you’re not dropshipping, think you can offer collection at your Glen Waverley/Mulgrave principal place of business?
        I don’t want a refund. I want the vacuum.
Can’t wait anymore. AusPost mob will do a cross country around Australia with the vacuums before coming back to Melbourne.

        • Please let me know your order, i can try to hold your order if you wish to pick up.

          • -2

@Gearbite: No, you tell us your warehouse address first and update the deal description that you’re offering click & collect at that address.
You’re going to identify me with my order # and do all sort of stuff. I’m not stupid.

            • @brokenglish: But how else is OP going to hold your order if they don't know which order to hold for pickup?

            • @brokenglish: Need your order no to hold your order if you need to pick up tomorrow, if we do not know your order, we won’t know shock order need to hold, your order will pick up tomorrow.

            • @brokenglish: Weird much? You are the one who requested pick up and you don't want to tell them your order number?
              Never pleasing anyone these days.

  • Hi, is this deal still valid or I'm too late?

    • +2

If you’re willing to wait 1 month for delivery then go for it. Store should be banned in the future for lying to so many of us. I knew the price was too good to be true.
No stock in hand while promising otherwise is 100% dropshipping business no matter what seller says.
My house is very dirty atm.
Might as well order one from the Alis.

      • I am not happy with the waiting, but your statement is a bit harsh.

The delay sucks, but OP has kept us updated and offered solutions, including cancellation and full refund for those who can't wait.

Yes, I am also frustrated as I received a tracking number, but the item hasn't been shipped yet. OP should refund the delivery fees for those who paid Express shipping, which I believe has been done, and an additional "apologies discount" wouldn't hurt either.

        • +4

No, I wasn’t kept updated, I received no email/sms/notification from them that my order was delayed. Only when I bothered to recheck this deal that I became aware of the delay.

They have a proven track record from previous deals for lying saying “Limit Stock” although they don’t have stock in hand. You’re just giving Gearbite the Aussie Broadband treatment.

Just see my comment above. If they’re really not dropshipping, they should let some of us collect at their warehouse. They will save on HUGE shipping cost (AusPost will refund them the postage of items they dont collect) but probably won’t because they rather coup this cost and not get found out doing dropshipping.

          • @brokenglish: Also to add on the express shipping was not refunded. Only for the one person above. Think they will only refund the express shipping cost if you specifically request it

            • @qedwards: We will check all express postage for this deal and issue refund for the express postage for sure. If you do not receive express refund by next week, please let us know.

          • +1

@brokenglish: I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but you might have had more bad experiences than I have with Gearbite.

Agreed that I was only updated by this post, and I haven't received any email from them regarding the delay. Therefore, I can review my position and agree with you.

To be honest, my the problem is that my experience with customer service in Australia is so bad that I just assume that this bad is the normal and expected for every order I place. I buy something that is "ready to ship" or ETA for 1-2 weeks, and wait for the apologetic email saying that my order will be delayed, for whatever reason, or no reason at all, if they send an email; sometimes I just wait for the ETA and nothing happens, no contact, and when I call them, I am informed that they don't have the item. When I see that an order has been delivered, I only believe that I have the right item when I open the box. I initially thought I was unlucky, but then I saw the same happening with everyone else. It's so rare to have a normal and hassle-free transaction that I want to write a review when that happens.

Anyway, I hope we get our vacuums in the next days… :/

          • @brokenglish: If you want to pick up, please let me know your order, i will request to hold your order and wait for your pick up.

  • Hoping I get a shipping update tomorrow :)

  • Why is there two versions of the dreame v11 on your website at different prices, what is the difference between them? Is it old pin vs new pin or is one available sooner?

    • All new Pin now.

  • So it's Monday 22nd Feb and my austpost tracking still hasn't progressed from "shipping info processed by austpost". Not liking my chances of receiving it today….

    • Auspost will be collecting today based on OP update. At this rate the v9 will probably go on sale soon…

  • -1

has not got an update yet… OP.. please update.. thanks.
and as someone suggested - we should all get free carpet head for all this wait.

    • Picked up, hopefully can deliver shortly.here

      • -2

        finallyy..
what about the free carpet head?

  • Still not updated yet either, still sitting on 'Shipping information approved by Australia Post.' OP please update on what's going on/when to expect shipping. Cheers

    • +1

Picked up, hopefully can deliver shortly.here

  • +8

I use afterpay for this purchase. What’s the bet that I would paid off the vacuum before receiving it? 😂

    • +1

      you get it after pay

    • Got my delivery email from aus post

  • +2

Given the responses from the rep, I suspect we should expect the packages by end of the week. Irrespective of aus post collecting it today. If That would be the realistic response even if you are in Melbourne.

If they were really on top of it they would of made it possible for pick up today and organised this on the weekend that pick up would be available for Monday.

The responses so far have been typical and points to numerous issues shirking the blame to external suppliers etc delays and they have not taken ownership or accountability for selling stock which they did not have.

Once I receive my vacuum, let's hope I don't have to deal with the customer service if there are issues. It's been appalling so far.

    • +1

Picked up, hopefully can deliver shortly.here
