Such an amazing game. Soo glad I got this over CoD

Don't see the deal here. Unless you really want a hardcopy, you can get the same version for $33. If you don't have enough internet, just get a friend to give you the files.

http://cdkeysdiscount.com/117-cd-key-battlefield-3.html $32.50 after using discount code "cdface"

then you get to work out how to change from russian to english, $18 more is not too bad to save you some hassle in the future.

      • +5

        No.

        "EU/ US Version"

    • Not sure why you are being negged, your post is legit and it is the English version not Russian. It is cheaper than buying it from local, don't need the disc to play.

      • Uhh, no version of BF3 needs the game disc inserted to actually play it. Authentication is completely server-side.

    Are these new or used?

    • +3

Really bro? You're gonna ask this? Once a cd key is used on an EA/Origin account, the cd key then becomes used or invalid.

OK I give up… that's the price to suck me in

Just remember this isn't the LE edition.

    • Yeap, best retail price for PC LE edition, I think is JB HiFi. Not sure about this

    • +1

Just remember this isn't the LE edition.

This is very significant, as the standard edition DOES NOT include the new BF2 themed DLC Pack (4 new maps, 10 weapons). It'll cost you like another $25 to buy this by itself, because you're going to want it. Most servers run DLC maps and if you don't have them you'll have to find another server.

Indeed, minimum spend on Back to Karkand is approximately $15 USD.

I got my PC limited edition from Dungeon Crawl for $54.50 a couple of weeks ago (was an English "Asia-Pacific" Edition - no Russian edition language file stuff to deal with), but they've since increased the price to $59.90 and it doesn't help much anyway for someone who wants it over the extra-long weekend.

Got it hoping to relive BF2 but this 'reimagining' is making me feel old. Seems such a chaotic game by comparison and the minimap design gives a much less clear picture of what's going on. Hoping I just need a bit more time to get my bearings.

  • Is this the limited edition version or the normal edition

    • +1

Normal edition, you'll be hard pressed finding the limited edition for PC available in retail stores.

bought this plus the expansion for $50.
Just the cd-key and just add it on origin and works~

Really good game, i would recommend it. lots of teamwork needed.~

    • Yeah fun game isn't it~

You are right about teamwork though~
When the teams are stacked it can be a hellish game~

Just whatever you do, stay away from Metro on Conquest~

Just saw a copy in-store, it is indeed $50! (On shelves.)

  • You will never find a LE again with Back to Karkland. I believe it was only available prior to release.

The Back to Karkland maps are awesome and most servers are playing them now, so do get it for the $24.95 AUD (or $15 from the US somehow I'm sure).

I have a unused, brand new, sealed BF3 Limited Edition DVD (comes with Back to Karkland) - $45 firm pick up Melbourne (North Melb) if anyone is interested. I preordered from the Hut but bought digital because I couldn't wait!

    • With PC copies you might, not many PC gamers will go to retail stores to acquire their copies of BF3, so there may very well be left over LE stock.
