  • hi. do you know the ubereats support phone number?. I have a domino code ending today but when I order, it said the ''There was an error processing your request". I asked through the app but no one hasn't replied yet.

    • +3

Member since: online now. Also no Uber Eats Support for Consumers is only accessible Via live chat as opposed to restaurants and drivers who have phone support. But the code expires at 11:00 pm so there is plenty of time

      • thank you. I hope Ubereats could fix soon for me.

      • +1

what’s the link to live chat?

      • +1

Even the drivers do not have phone support. We can only use chat when facing issues on live orders or email/messages for any other times. No idea about restaurants though.

  • The $5 pint slices are no longer available at the Ben and Jerry's near me. Anyone else have them disappear from the menu?

    • I can still see them

    • My local B&J has blocked Uber Eats orders completely today; guess they just decided they don't want to deal with it.

      • That sucks

      • My local Subway did the same thing when the promo was on.

  • +1

Uber Eats banned and deactivated my account. Wtf have I done wrong. I all was doing is redeeming promo codes from this promo. Bastards

    • How many codes have you redeemed since the promo started ?

      • Eleven. I had more but couldn’t use because of the payment issues (which I now know is due to the ban)

        • +1

You sure you don't have any other UE a/cs. They do ban if they suspect multiple a/cs (ie using same device, cards, PayPal etc).

          • @dins: I switched to different payment methods as soon as the payment issues started coming up. Not sure if that’s the reason but whatever. Is there any services I can use to fight them like Ombudsman or something?

            • @I Smell Pennies: Maybe you have used the same card/s on another Uber/UE account/s? They do pick that up. If they have reviewed your a/c and the ban still stands there must be some reason I would presume? Anyways sorry to hear champ.

    • +4

Whoaaahh really ? feel sad for you mate as it sounds unfair.. if those buggers are running promos for Free food idk whats wrong in allowing people to redeem them.. I feel scared as well now cause I have like ordered over 10 orders through their promos for the last 3 days…

      • Exactly mate, I feel absolutely disgusted at their service. My brother’s account just had the same problem today as well and I realised quite a few Ozbargainers have mentioned this payment issue. Let’s hope for you all it’s not a ban as well.

        • Can you clarify what you mean? Does the app say you're banned, or does it just say that it won't take payment? I had that issue at one point and I just changed the payment method.

          • @Zivko: Exactly the same as @zivko

            • +1

@I Smell Pennies: Well, here's hoping for everyone else here that it's an isolated incident. Unless you were doing something else on your account that incited the ban (creating multiple Uber accounts and claiming the same code multiple times, for example).

              • @Zivko: I don’t have multiple accounts, neither claimed the same code multiple times. weird

        • Yesterday had trouble with payment and only have redeemed 5 codes. Changed payment and it works fine at the moment.

          • @Izzyq19: That happened to me and it worked too. I’m at a dead end now.

            • @I Smell Pennies: So you were able to change payment methods before but now it won't even let you do that?

              • @Scope: yeah :(

                • @I Smell Pennies: Damn. I get the payment error notice but haven't been banned yet. How long after you get the payment error until your account was deactivated?

                  • @Scope: I believe the payment error was because of the deactivation in the first place

                    • @I Smell Pennies: That's what I'm concerned about too. Was your account deactivated straight away when you noticed that you were getting payment errors?

                      • +1

                        @Scope: That’s what I don’t know 😂

                        • @I Smell Pennies: My account was saying payment errors yesterday but it work last night but haven't tried today though.

                          • @Izzyq19: Worked with the same card or you had to change to a different card?

    • I'm having same issues, cannot order anything from Dominos or Maccas. This is bs!

    • +3

Could your post here have something to do with it maybe?

      • People love pretending to be innocent after the fact on here.
        Played the game and lost.

      • 3 of us in the car sooo

        • Sit on each others lap?

      • +2

I mean using a bunch of codes all at once is odd, but it's not against the rules, I don't see how that deserved an account termination. If Uber eats only wanted people to use one code each they should have made it one redemption per account per day. It wouldn't have been hard…

        • It is against their fair use terms, no different to downloading large amount of data on a unlimited internet plan? They terminate in that case also

        • +2

Using multiple codes at once and sending all the orders to the restaurant car park to avoid/reduce delivery fees is pushing the rules I think.

      • All those HJ orders were not from my account actually, they were from my family members. My account was deactivated long before that. My last order was actually the Macca's one, and I didn't make so many orders at one go either. Oh well, guess you guys enjoy your food :)

    • +3

We should ban UberEats from Ozbargain.

  • Those having payment issues have y'all been placing a bunch of $0 orders or something.

    • Some of my orders were $0. Some were less than $1

    • Most of mine were between $0.10-$3.60

      • 8 or 9 orders between 0 and $8
That $8 order saved me looks like haha

    • +6

It shouldn’t matter nonetheless. The promo was to eat for ‘love’ i.e free (except delivery fees). If they ban us for placing $0 orders when that’s what the promo is all about then that’s total bs

      • +2

So true mate. those buggers should have then pre-handedly advertised or give a warning before releasing promo codes saying if we are to place 0 orders then there is a risk of been banned.. this is absolutely ridiculous to ban users without any warnings

  • +4

How difficult is it for a software to detect that a promo code for 'this day' for 'this promotion' has already been applied on 'this account'? Just restrict codes to 'one per day per account' irrespective of issuing multiple codes on the same day, is that's what they want.

They need to incorporate this in their software, not impose bans!

  • +1

Those who got banned probably got reported by the restaurant, just a thought.

    • +1

Quite possible. But the Promotion is by Uber Eats. The promo codes are provided by Uber Eats. The restaurant gets the payment in full. And essentially they are getting a lot of business due to this promotion, so I fail to understand why will the restaurant report users.

      • It would sound stupid for the restaurant to, don’t they want customers ?

        • Yes. Will have to be cautious and observe if more and more are reporting getting banned. As shared by OzBargainHunter3000 in his screenshot one of the reasons mentioned by UE is "abusing promotions". If that is what UE classifies it as (although we all would disagree), then it may be one of the reasons.

      • +2

Not sure how uber compensates restaurants though, but it could be more work than its worth especially with small orders of fries, ice cream, drinks. Would really like to know the reason too, maybe those who got banned placed multiple orders at once? which would raise suspicion.

      • Pretty sure even tho UE is running the promo the participating restaurant is footing at least part of the bill. Otherwise no way UE would be allowing more than one code per account per day.

      • I’m not sure that’s entirely true. There’s one particular restaurant that whenever I use a free delivery promotion provided by Ubereats, my order gets cancelled. Whenever no free delivery promo, the order goes through. I’ve always found this weird if ubereats covers the promotions.

    • I suspect this as well. My local HJ must have gotten frustrated by my orders. But at the end of the day, they get paid for every single order and are able to report higher sales, what's the incentive for them to report a user?

      • Yeah

  • +1

ozbargain.com.au went down for a minute and I was like… My God, what have I done!!??

  • 2 of my Bens and Jerry’s have no reviews yet, does anyones store has reviews ?

  • +1

I made my location the car park of my local ben n jerry's and the delivery fee has dropped from $8.95 to $2.99.

    • +2

Because delivery $ is based on distance…

  • +3

My local B&J just went unavailable lol. They know the coupon code is coming…

    • +1

Thats so annoying. I'm anxiously checking here for the code and then UE to see if my store is still available

      • Yeah, and it's not closed either, I just rang and they're open but apparently, the UE machine just broke…

Interesting how when it broke the store didn't close, they're actually unavailable so I can't even schedule for another day lol :|

  • +1

My closest Ben & Jerry's has reduced its delivery fee to $2.99 from $5.99!
Sure hope I get some codes tonight, even though they are sold out of my favourite flavours.

  • +1

My local B&Js has gone unavailable, “no delivery drivers nearby”.

  • +1

One of my local B&J are unavailable but the other one is available.

    • +2

Okay whose been telling BJs about the codes lol

      • Good Question !!!

        • Okay I must confess it was me. Just couldn't hold it in any longer. Especially not after all the subs, burgers and pizzas from the last few days. Something had to give.

  • +1

One more hour till they release the first promo code ^_^ Pretty sure this one would be gone in seconds =D

    • +1

Yeah, I reckon it will go very fast.

    • +1

How do you know? I'm assuming 7:30pm is when a particular game starts or something?

    • +5

Not everyone will have access to ben and jerrys stores so maybe not, also there is delivery fee to consider $4 in my case. The tub in my view is only worth about $5 max its small and very overrated.

      • +3

But people that don’t look if they do, would try and get one and than realise that they don’t have one around, a waste of a promo code that could of been used that someone that does

    • Thought it starts at 7 when the new game begins for women singles?

  • -5

What the code for tonight? Any left?

    • +4

Must be your first time here

    • +4

      BONK this man pls

  • -8

    Where's the code?

    • +5

      Wow just wow

    • +1

      Not here yet

    • +2

Hello waiter? Yes, could I please order one BONK for this lad?

    • +5

I think all the codes have run out for the evening try another day.

  • +1

In terms of the singles, there is a game at 7pm and a game at 8:15pm. I'm going to assume we'll be getting the codes for those matches.

    • Well I hope so

  • My stomach is about 5x fatter thanks to 7x free dominoes pizzas. Buyer beware

    • They are bloody awful stodgy things too :( but I won't say no to a near free meal. The Subway vouchers are the best IMO.

  • If you do 2 dominos orders at about the same time how many drivers come ?

    • +1

They deliver it themselves so should be just one.

    • I ordered 3 yesterday and got the same delivery person. Ordered a minute or two apart

      • Yep same here, 3 orders dropped off by 1 driver

    • Anyone from experience ?
