  This has been this price for a fair while. I picked up the colour one for $320 with discounted gift cards though.
  i've never been rejected having the store price match commercial so i can use discounted gift cards

  Damn. I literally just returned a faulty brother MFC to officeworks today and just elected to get a replacement rather than a refund. I could have gotten this and gotten $30 back.

    If by slim change you haven't open the ink cartridges yet you should be able to get a refund.

  Does it do double sided scanning? And is it able to scan documents and save it so the text is searchable?

  Looking for a way to scan years of documents to go paperless, have a flat bed scanner but it would be a slow process using that.

    Does it do double sided scanning?

    This one only does duplex print.

    For duplex print & scan you need the next model up. (MFC-L2750DW)
