Just go into the Good Guys and ask for that price. I picked one up on Thursday, quoted 2,700, used 5% gift cards, so paid 2,565.
This.
I just called from store to store for my 65" until I was happy with price. It beat any GGC offer since and I paid with discount gift cards too. This is a good price for 65".
You won't get a 65" at this price. I paid 3135 after all rebates and discounts back in around March and still think that's a damn good price
Too bad no 77inch
One other thing to take into consideration if you are after a CX, or LG n general, is stock levels.
Waiting and waiting for the best possible price might result in missing out. All stores in my area (Geelong) had no stock of 55" CX. Good guys were the only store with stock at hand. Every other store either didn't know when they were getting any or were waiting weeks for customer orders.
I was literally in a conversation with a friend visit wanting this TV for roughly this price… I load up OzB and here we are…
Why does it need to be so expensive in Australia? In Germany with their higher GST (19% vs 10%), it is ~$2400 without any sale. You could probably grab one there in sale for $2000.
The OLED factory is in Guangzhou, so it closer to Australia than to Europe by ships.
Australia and Austria are mixed up once again.
Buyer beware on this one - panel and DTS issues prevented me from going with this awhile back. ACL may come into play but I wasn't prepared to deal with the possible future hassle so I swiped left.
I want a CX 48 with a good discount. It seems only JB has 48 inch. Why is that?
Online exclusive.. If they're the only place selling it and its direct order from LG why would it be discounted ?
Not sure about details as why lg only supplies to JB only. Felt that may against law like exclusive supply so manipulating price. Hoping other retailers could follow up and get stock.
They did supply to Bing Lee, but "the page has moved". Not sure if it's because it is out of stock or some sort of exclusive. :/

Nope happens all the time, for example HP supplies HN with a rose gold sku that JB could never order etc, JB probably paid for the rights to only sell this model and considering it comes directly from LG anyway its RRP that's why it isn't discounted or manipulated as you say..
C9 got down to $1800
This is a ripoffDid you know there’s been a pandemic virus this year causing massive stock issues?
