    Are you letting PayPal do the conversion or have your currency to AUD on the site? Both will be inaccurate.

    If you have a currency conversion free card linked to your PayPal, at payment in PayPal you can choose the currency conversion and choose to bill in USD. That'll give you a more realistic price.
