I am eyeing this watch from the past few weeks now. I reached out to Amazfit Official to see if they can do any special on it and was provided with a coupon code which stacks with the existing $40 coupon.

I find the look of this watch more elegant and has a good balance of business look as well as sports features.

$189 with Free delivery (Stack with $40 by Coupon + $10 with BBSX4P6F Code)

Cheapest for a local Aussie stock IMO.

why does it do "click here to apply $40 coupon" and not just take $40 off the product

    • You have to stack both the checkbox discount ($40 off) + coupon code ($10 off) provided by OP.

      • +1

yes, but my question was why do they have to do that coupon thing

        • Based on description, the additional $10 off was negotiated by OP.

          • @RichardL: yes, but how bout the $40 one

            • +1

@Specificagent1: The $40 is an option, you can buy it with or without a discount. Is it that hard to understand?

              • @wangsk: yes, but why do they have to do that

                • @Specificagent1: I wonder the same thing. What’s the point of it being an option. I thought perhaps it has something to do with who’s pocket that discount comes from. The seller or Amazon’s (or amazon and the seller splitting the cost). Maybe it’s a way fir amazon to track it?

What’s the difference between this Kogan deal @$169 happen to be a Normal price?

    • +2

Shipping from Kogan is $10.99 for me, bringing the total to $179.99.

On the other hand… for $10 more you don’t have to deal with kogan.

(Local stock by Amazfit Official) vs (Direct import by Kogan)

  • 47mm is quite large for some people.

  • GTR 2e for not much more seems like a better option, but from Amazon US rather than amazfit.

Annoying that the Aussie store doesn't even have the GTR 2 listed, let alone the newer 2e

I have one of these. It's been great. Make sure you get 3rd party app notify for amazfit pro. It's worth it.

    looks nice
but having been on the android wear bandwagon for close to 5 years, I am starting to think the walled garden of Apple has better support on the long run.

    • Android wear can't do weeks battery

      • My GTR lasts 3 weeks normal use

  • This looks nice. Awesome battery life. Have an older amazfit stratos and it is rock solid.

  • I have had this watch since Xmas 2019 and it is fantastic. It's not a true smartwatch, but still provides notifications which I find extremely useful.

The health monitoring and GPS isn't particularly accurate however, so I would not buy for these features.

    It's two best features are:

    1. The wide variety of watch faces you can download for free (basically any commerical watch you can think of (Rolex, tag, omega, Tissot, etc).

    2. The 2 to 4 week battery life

I have bought for mine a tachymeter dial add-on, plus a protective tempered glass cover. Both just a couple of dollars on aliexpress.

    • The GPS not being accurate got worse after they switched to the ZEN app as well.

I have compared my Garmin to my GTR and there are places where the GTR just goes I DUNNO LOL STRAIGHT LINE and will connect the two points it lost signal leading to an essentially useless track.

Battery life was amazing on the GTR, and I didn't mind the interface.

Considering I bought it to track my runs and rides and it will just flip between GPS lock and lost every few minutes in clear weather I'm very happy I switched back to Garmin.

      • Which Garmin are you comparing it with?

        • I got a Garmin Instinct Solar when it was on sale a few weeks? months? ago.
