      Buying an adapter + 3 x the price from a brand with less sales makes me think it’s just (more than likely) the same thing.

          There are plenty of positive reviews there, some with "Oculus Quest 2 Link" screenshots showing ~2.5Gbps. If you want guarantees, pay $129 and be done. At least with Amazon, if it don't work, free return with "not fit for purpose".
