They've been as cheap as $89 posted/delivered, so it's up to you if it's worth the extra $14, or worth the wait.
You could have a look on Ebay, that's where I got mine. I found it for $95 and it works fine. As long as you put genuine in the search bar you will find them.
I bought two last week from JB, who price matched target at $98.
yeah I missed out on $88 deals on here…anyways thanks
There was a deal on here last month that utilised some site that sent you a $20 off catch of the day voucher which I used in conjuction with the $10 off first lattitude pay payment to get a Dualsense for $79 which was a pretty good price. Might be worth seeing if that deal is still available.
Can anyone recommend the Pulse 3D? Tempted but figured I could buy any other headphones for the same price.
I've heard it's pretty crap
It's not "crap" but it's a basic headset for a basic price. There's definitely much better ones for more money.
I love mine, had Astro A50 Gen 4 and sold them mid last year due to barely using them.
They are comfy, great battery life and sound quality is pretty good. I haven't noticed a firmware update however the sound quality did sound alot better after the last PS5 update.
After paying $399 for my Astro's and $159 for my Pulse- I think it's a steal at the price.
Only downside is the faux ear cups, tend to sweat a tiny bit in the middle of the day in summer.
They sound good, good mics, and have very convenient controls (such as the mix between chat and game audio) that integrate well with the PS5 software. The build quality is cheap, but they are comfy enough. Very good value for the money though, compared to similar featured headsets.
good headset. bought both that and the Arctis 7 to compare. quite similar sound imo - unless you're an audiophile it is pretty similar and I liked them both just fine for fps (cod) as well as general rpg gaming. bass also descent. I kept the Arctis in the end as I had personal benefit of being able to use dual audio (plug in aux from pc to the adapter while connected to ps5, getting 2 sound sources at once).
the pulse 3d plays nicer with the ps5, with the audio and chat mix controls and battery status in the connected devices pane.
also the pulse have leatherette pads vs cloth pads on others.
if you just want a good sounding headset, it'll do that well. if you're a bit more particular about what you want, well there's a few tiny things to consider for yourself… hope that helps…
Wonder if this means Amazon is getting ready to dump some PS5 stock?
Hope so, I've got the page open & hit refresh every 5 mins ;)
Yeah I have just set up 1-click purchase ready to go. Haha
Legend thanks!

Why of all the accessories are these so rare?
