Last good Bomberman game imo was Bomberman Ultra, it's a shame it's a gen 7 exclusive. I brought Super Bomberman R thinking it was going back to that formula, I was wrong ):

    Have a look at some reviews and gameplay - maybe you do like the game after all. One big advantage it has is split screen play.
