Never even heard of it.
It got lots of press from copying breath of the wild. The demo even used zelda music
I got Diluc from my beginners wish and has always since been my main dps.
I only started 2 weeks ago, I'm at AR38 and have diluc, c4 fishcl, c2 bennett and c0 Barbara as my main setup.
Then have razor, Mona, sucrose c1 who sub in.
I've spent $7.99 on the daily gem thing.
Finished all quests in the game as of yesterday and now just doing daily to level/gear up so I can finish abyss while waiting for new content.
Really enjoy the game but happy I didn't spend any more.
omg takes me days to get into AR6, dont know how you can get that quick ???? AR 38 omgggg
I'm on holidays atm so plenty of time to play!
However now that I've finished all the quests I only play for an hour or so a day to do dailies.
Just another 'game' to drain countless hours and waste time that could be used productively.
You could say that about any pastime/leisure activity.
Leisure Suit Larry was the exception to this rule

I've spent over 500+ dollars. Waste of money I know. I had all the 5 star characters and alot of max constellations 4 stars including Zhongli, Fiscual and Xingqu but I quit pretty quickly after getting Zhongli. I just realised it wasn't sustainable.
I was never able to simply "not spend" on the game cause there was always too much I wanted. Once I realised that there would always be something that I would want I just quit so I could save myself money.I should note that at least I got 200 back from all my efforts. A friend wanted my account and bought it off me. Did he scam me?, not really cause I just wanted to be away from that game.

Mate, I know this means nothing coming from a stranger but it's great that you recognised that it was costing you and you no longer wanted it. Quitting anything that you find addicting is harder than it sounds! Great mental fortitude and kinda awesome that you were able to sell it at all! Now find a sustainable addiction ;)
People spend much more on other hobbies
It's a crappy free to play mobile phone game. You can buy more than 5 AAA new release PC/Xbox/PS titles for that price, if gaming is a hobby.

If you can afford it without going in to severe debt, then it's no big deal.
Not really familiar with the game but what else could you possibly need after spending $500 on in app purchases? Does most of it actually make the game deeper/more enjoyable or is it just aesthetics (ie limited edition cloak that is exactly the same as starting cloak but this time it's RED!)
Well I mean, each character is unique…If you really want to get into the technically aspects of it then yea, I guess I would say that paying more money for new characters does make the game more complex in terms of combat. As to whether its worth it, hell no. Hence why I quit.

Monthly pass and battle pass so just a little over $50. Stopped playing wow(Not enough time), so it's fare amount.
