Would the new features on the ps5 controller even work if you don't have a ps5? PS controllers isn't exactly the best product ergonomically.
They were asking about the Xbox though. PS5 isn't a part of Microsoft's "ecosystem" so to speak.
Well that’s why I’m thinking of getting a ps5, as I don’t think there’s much point in getting an Xbox, if all of its games will come to pc as well.
More crossover with Xbox and PC, so probably not. Check if there’s any games you want that are on Xbox that aren’t on PC. Maybe a Series S is the go if you have Game Pass?
The other thing is, I just won’t have the time to play it! Long weekends and holidays are usually when I get my gaming done nowadays. Otherwise my ps4 and Xbox haven’t been used in over 6 months. Played a lot of halo, sea of thieves and cyberpunk on my pc over the Christmas break tho.

I'm not that excited about it either, other than more storage and the quick resume. But presumably over time the difference between my One X and this will be more noticeable.
The quick resume should be implemented into PCs as well. Once you realise how much better that one feature is you get lazy to turn on the PC and load a game. And I definitely notice the difference in games. But depends on what monitor you are using. The 4k120 is very noticeable.
Huge difference between my One S and Series X. I think you’d notice going from a One X as well - the load times alone are worth the upgrade.
Yes, I got one - load times and instant standby/resume (whatever the marketing term is) are the highlights for me in the early days

With 7000 clicks I’d say they have a lot and probably restocked their own supply line first rather than 3rd party stores

From Xbox one OG and S yes. From an X not so much only games load time is faster. Maybe slight graphic improvement. I can't tell but Halo Master Chief is so smooth in multiplayer.
Thanks! that’s what I thought. I touch xbox less frequently ever since I got PS5. Another reason that I asked was because the one x support is going to end soon, but I mainly use the PS to play current or next gen games and xbone for the backwards compatibility

Awww nobody wants the Series S. I love mine, have it connected to a 24 inch 1080p monitor. Great little machine.
Shame about the storage but understandable.
@ $33 per month with game pass. I definitely would of had one at uni. And if I didn’t have a switch I would have got one for travel but now you can stream. The series x with game pass is the best option and as game pass comes to iPad and any computer with a browser it only gets better.

Just after the NBN FTTN rollout is complete and they realise its already obsolete and need to start the roll out of fibre to the home….once thats complete we should get cloud gaming here :)
You can cloud game on android right now. You might have to sign up for Xbox insider program though.

@GuyG: With DHL needing a signature, does it have to be from the person that's it's being delivered too or can it be anyone else at same address? Worried I'm going to be at work and cannot sign for the delivery.
@Crownie: Don't know what company delivered mine (Telstra All Access deal), but it was just left outside my door .. no signature .. no knock. But thankfully in a very plain looking brown outer box.
