  • Good to know. It would be interesting if it actually worked when I do my annual recharge

Does not work on 6-12 months plan, data rollover from $30 to $70 value recharge

      • Damn that would've been amazing as I've still got 200GB leftover on my 12month plan and need to recharge tomorrow :(

I just contacted Boost mobile and they said that the data rollover would also apply to annual plans. This is great news.

        • Wooooot!!! Thanks for the great news :D

        • My brother contacted Boost mobile today and they told him the opposite of what they told me. They said that data from annual plans doesn't roll over. Now I just don't know. Perhaps someone who gives it a try can report back.

  • Coles Mobile does the same thing, capped at 50GB. It works if you recharge before the expiry date (the tightar$e in me refuses to recharge before it's due, since it means I've paid for 29 days, rather than 30!) or if you maintain an active AutoRecharge. I haven't set that up yet. The 15GB per month has been way more than enough so far, but having 50GB in the "bank" would be good to have, just in case.

  • Already mentioned in your old post.

It is still better to recharge early than forget about it.

  • Great news, has anyone confirmed it happens though?

I'm due in a week for my annual, don't wanna blow my
remaining 50GB if it can rollover

I'll let you know in two days when my previous data runs out

      • great thanks!

No dice - looks like my ~193GB didn't rollover when the previous recharge ended. Their T&Cs only state that the 28 day recharges are eligible, but technically nothing says that the 12 month plans are ineligible. When chatting with their chatbot it just says "recharges above $30 get data rolled over".

Had a chat with an agent this morning to go through that and managed to wrangle myself an extra 50gb for free because I was "unaware" of the exclusion.

          • @chartparker: Bugger.. I used my 50gb anyway
Recharge tomorrow with two gig left :)

No rollover. In fact, no recharge!
Msged boost and was told auto recharge doesn’t work on annual plans. News to me!
