  • Thx I was about to run out of tablets. Those are made in Poland correct?

    • +5

      Polandball nods

    • Poland is stronk!

  • +1

Yes made in Poland checked my box.

  • Instore price the same?

  • FYI wrapper doesn't dissolve.

    • -4

This ones are "Classic" which means they come in a classic plastic wrap. The one you're talking about are Finish All-in-1 or Quantum.

      • +7

I am talking about the Classic?

        • +1

+1 tablet doesn't dissolve well and leaves white stains on the dishes and pots.

    • +1

"The road to hell is paved with good intentions", is apt here

  • +2

Is there actually a difference between these and their pricier Quantum Ultimate Plus or whatever range?

    • +2

I found no difference. Just make sure to have rinse aid topped up. A good dishwasher probably matters more than the powder/tablets

      • This. 16 years a Miele and now an AEG, rinse aid (sometimes) and the cheapest Finish tab always produces great results. The cheaper the dishwasher, the more tabs matter imo.

      • Ok thanks. I’ve clearly been wasting my money on the quantum ones then. Too bad I bought a years supply 😑

    • +1

      price is difference :D

    • I have Ultimate and Classic at home and used it back to back to compare in Westinghouse dishwasher. Ultimate is much better when we have full load, dishes and plastic look cleaner and shinier

  • -5

Use wrapped or have to open in title, thanks

  • Not knowing it’s wrapped imagine I need to unwrap 110 times until it finishes. No to me.

  • +6

Is this different to this at Kmart for $10 only? Also 110 tablets.

    • Seemingly not. You should post it!

    • +2

      It seems no stock online.
And which stores have the stock?

    • Wow thats cheap!

    • Price matched this with chemist warehouse. They beat the price difference by 10%

Been using these and the Aldi ones for a few months (with normal 2.5hr cycle mode) and usually find the dishes are a bit slippery when I take them out - sometimes I can see tiny soap bubbles on my hands after handling the dishes. Probably not too harmful in small amounts but not ideal… I didn't have an issue when using the powder version from my local organics store, but can anyone recommend a supermarket/chemist brand that doesn't leave soap residue?

    • +3

Sounds like a dishwasher problem rather than the tablet, but I'm no expert

      • +1

Good point, I have a fairly high-end Bosch and the dishes come out steaming and hot to the touch so I thought it must be the tablets. Wonder if it's a common issue with some dishwashers..

        • Fair enough. I have a series 4 Bosch and haven't had it

          • @teacherer: We are using these tablets for almost 3 years now with F&P dishwasher, did notice sometimes that some dishes are not 100% clean, but no complaints regarding the slippery or soapy.

    • You could try some other tabs (e.g. Fairy and Colesworth home brands). Alternatively, try dropping the tabs in the cutlery basket or the bottom of the washer, to see if that helps.

    • +3

check the temperatures for your wash cycles as i found any wash under 55deg wouldnt discolve the aldi tabs enough.
i have a F&P adn can only run the pots or normal cycle if i use those aldi tabs.
It should say on the boxes what the reccoemnded temps are for the tabs to have best results.

Having said that… after watching a video about it online… im back to powder due to the pre-wash cycles not being effective with tabs.

      • Literally came here to say that and link the youtube video! It really does make a difference! I cannot remember the last time my dishes were this clean :) Powder (pre-wash and main) + Rinse Aid

        • which powder brand do you use in particular?

          • +1

@paradoxez: I've been using ALDI Logix and it's doing a very stellar job of cleaning dishes and making glass ware sparkling clean.
I've heard from others that they use Aldi one as well 👍🏼

          • @paradoxez: We use the also logix powder also. Just throwing in your prewash and wash holes and add the also rinse-aid and you're laughing

      • I love this channel, such great content.

        • Absolutely brilliant, been watching him since the early days, he has definitely toned down his dry jokes which I really enjoy 😁

    Kogan Website: $59 for 4 boxes (Don't pay $XX)
    Chemist Warehouse: $51.96 for 4 boxes (Don't pay $59)

Just ordered 4 boxes, thanks OP. $7.04 (plus shipping) cheaper than Kogan.

  • +1

    Cheaper at kmart?

  • Stocked up for the next year or so. Thanks

  • +1

Last time thus deal came i had price matched at officeworks… So worked out 5% cheaper than this for anyone who wants to do the same.

  • Is there a website to tell how hard or soft your water is? I’ve tried looking without success.

Also, can anyone recommend a way to get cheap dishwasher salt?

    Cheers

  • Does it have have expiry? Or can stock up as much as I want?

    • Depends how you consume it..

      • Can I stock for 2yrs?

        • I was being silly, what i meant was, they dont go bad ( and since your are not eating it, it should be safe)…

          • +1

@DaveD: Oh cool sorry for not getting it. ;)
I just thought that some brands have an expiry date on them. Havent checked these finish ones though.

  • Are these any better than the Woolies home brand Shine ones? $12 for 100 everyday, supposedly "10 in 1". I find them and the ALDI ones to be fine

    • Same question. Been using the woolies one too.

  • I switched to Aldi and Earth Choice a year or two ago and have found them much better. Don’t even need rinse aid anymore.

  • Good price, in fact a very good price if not quite the best ever. Best price ever here was around 9c a tab some years back (the 'crushed box' deal).

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/194379

I'm still using some of the tabs from the 360 I bought in that go (51/2 years ago!). As for function, they work fine if you unwrap them (!) and put just the soiled dishes in the washer and not half the meal too .. 😅 .. !!

  • Thx op… got CW to price match 3 boxes so sorted for near a year now.. glad manager didnt look at stock levels at kmart otherwise wouldn't of worked ..

  • Can anyone confirm if this one is the same product? thanks

    https://www.kmart.com.au/product/110-tablets-finish-powerbal…
