      Actually, I agree with original comment. I was in the US this year and any session during the day was only $6.00. Aussies are getting taken to the cleaners by cinemas over here… Even if we paid kid's prices!

        This is OzBargain not USBargain. I don't think it's cheaper to buy a plane ticket to the US to watch a $6 dollar movie. You should be comparing prices within Australia.

        Also don't forget the minimum hourly rate in the US is ~7 dollars while in Australia it is $15.

    true, but if you can get a $9~ (Bupa) you save $3 from 3D surcharge.
