Why don't you make your own pot
Yo dawg, I heard you like pumpkin
That pot looks like one of those heirloom tomato 🍅
Perfect timing! Said to my wife only last night we don't have nearly enough pumpkin shaped Cast Iron Casserole cooking dishes. Bought 15.
Pay $100 more and get the Staub pumpkin pot instead. Looks way nicer and almost double the capacity.

Agree. much better.
Yeah seen the Staub ones IRL and they're pretty impressive. IMO though they're a novelty item, if you're shopping for your first enameled cast iron Dutch oven then go a normal one with straight sides. This is for rich people with fancy Le Creuset/SMEG kitchens to keep in a cupboard only to be pulled out once every couple of years when they serve soup at a dinner party or something.
I'm loving my very practical staub 26 cm dutch oven with steamer, and I don't think I deserve the pretty pumpkin until I can afford my own kitchen.
@SheepshearingReyrey: Yeah I've got one of the slightly smaller Aldi ones and at some point this year I'll grab the 28cm Staub.
I feel you, I still live with housemates and by universal rule they always use the good stuff and never treat it right (knives edge down in rack, cast iron washed with the rest of the dishes, etc)
Not related to the pumpkin dish, but Amazon has charged my account for an 'out of stock' item on the day of purchase - it shows no signs of shipping anytime soon. YMMV.
Was it sold by Amazon or a third-party?
YMMV but I ordered this early November for a few dollars more and the order still hasn't shipped. Contacted Amazon multiple times and they've been no help at all.
Agree Amazon AU have a terrible policy of billing immediately and shipping later. Amazon US never bill you until shipping notice and tracking number is confirmed.
Is this a joke post? $100 per litre pot? What a rip-off.
