Wrong model. This doesn't have the USB sound card. Both models are listed v2 and v2x v2 is 147.90

V2 comes with the USB sound card v2x doesn't.

What a stupid naming convention by razer..

  • OP I think you are comparing with the non-X version, which is a more expensive one.

This X version was around $75 around Christmas/New year period.

I was looking for a headset and in the end went with CM MH752 for better mic.

    • Unrelated question but do you have issues with the CH MH752 mic input volume being very low?

I've tried everything I can (including CM software, application specific settings and windows mic input settings) to try and increase the volume but with everything on maximum can people barely hear me.

      • I am still waiting for it to be delivered (from SA to QLD). I hope it won't take another week but I will let you know once I have it.

      • Tested mine and doesn't seem to have the problem. Have you tried record your voice and playback and see what happens?

        • Yeah it's been an issue since I got it - I'd have to speak quite loudly before it is perceived as audible over Skype/Discord. :\ Glad to know it's not happening to you though.

  • What's better this or Hyper X Cloud IIs?
