    • Worked in Chrome on Desktop for me - 4 cables US$4.58 delivered.

  • thanks Clear. good deal

  • Free postage with 4 cables or less.

    • Not for me it isn't. 4 cables is $3.86 USD shipping.

  • Deal seems insane, what's the catch

You have to find Jack Ma…

      • +1

… And use a laser designator when you find him to"deliver his package"

Jokes apart, as human..I hope he is safe where ever he is… CCP can be cruel..

          • @DaveD: Whatโ€™s the story with jack ma?

@MuddyClear: He talked shit about China's state owned banks in a reality tv show

            • @MuddyClear: Hasn't been seen for a long time. Probably keeping the journalist who reported about Covid, and Muslims, company in a small cell in Siberia

          • +1

            @DaveD: Hope he's ok

    • It's shipping from China. Recent AliExpress orders for me are taking 3-4 weeks again since most sellers have stopped using China Post.

      • +1

Well, I'm in no rush so I bit the bullet (6 bucks for 4 cables?)

  • +1

Id never trust AliExpress they are always seller biased and their useless team (who can't even understand English properly) never refunds if Goods aren't received

    • +14

I've had the opposite experience. Every single one of my 'item not received' got refunded with no issues. Just have to make sure you never accept any of the seller's proposals.

      • I have to open a case all the time with bank with visa/MasterCard to get refund for item never received

        • +1

They support paypal now. Why don't you use it? PayPal protects buyers very well

      • +5

Ditto….. 1000+ transactions under my belt. About 15 claims in that time. All in my favour.

    • +2

Can't agree more with the first part. Don't waste time dealing with Eva, a real agent or even open a dispute case. As soon as you have enough evidence to back yourself, just raise the chargeback request with your bank.

I've recently successully got refund via charge back. The lost item was worth $180ish AUD and it was even not Aliepxress or Seller's fault but Australia Post who lost my package. Australia Post told me they can only refund to seller and only if the seller gave them a phone call during the buiness hours (no other means, kind of arragont as well, bastard!). Then I contacted the seller and Aliexpress and got unsurprised results. Seller refused to contact Australia Post and Aliexpress said the package had already delivered and rejected my case. Since all three parties screwed me up so I had no choice but to raise the charge back with my bank, backed by evidence showing that Goods/Services for the transaction were not provided due to the inability/unwillingness of the merchant. My bank submitted the case to visa for arbitration. Aliexpress fighted back with logistic infomation during the arbitration but I reinforced that the point is not the logistic but merchant's unwillingness which prevent me from getting a refund. Finally, I got the permanent credit from my bank last month (after 6 months)…

and only if the seller gave them a phone call during the buiness hours (no other means, kind of arragont as well, bastard!).

Seriously? A year ago I had Auspost writing letterheads describing the item was lost etc. etc. and I provided those to AliExpress which were sufficient enough for a refund.

        • Oh. When I called Auspost about the writing document, I got clear answer from CSR that no writing document will be provided… In a different call, I mentioned the possible language issue for oversea seller to make a phone call and asked for alternatives but CSR just insisted seller had to make the call.

I actually opened a online case before making any calls to Auspost and below was the reply:
          "…
We have investigated your issue with the delivery staff concerned, and they have advised something has gone wrong and we are unable to confine the location of this parcel. I understand that this is disappointing but as a result of this, we are able to look into compensation for the unsuccessful delivery.

To move forward with this we encourage you have the sender contact us directly and quote your reference number xxxxxxxxx as evidence of the investigation that has taken place. They will also need to provide any paperwork outlining the value of the contents to ensure the compensation assessment is completed as quickly as possible.
          …"

So, all communications indicated that Auspost only wants seller not buyer to deal with them. Yeah, if Auspost can provide such writing letter, it'll be way quicker to get refund back…

Lol people still buy from chinese AliExpress? Lmao

    • Alternatives?

      • eBay Australian items that cost may be a little more but come within 2 week because postage within Australia only.

Although they are still probably made in china ones

        • +4

It's important to remember that with most eBay sellers their "Item location" is a lie as they can put anything there. It's the profile location that tells you where they really are.

        • +4

So pay more for quicker delivery and minor return to the Australian economy for items that are still made in China?
But if the longer delivery time isn't an issue continue buying from ali and return to the economy by treating yourself to a restaurant fish or steak every now and then with all the accumulated savings?

        • the variety is a lot less if you only buy stuff that's already in the country. And a lot of the times, they lie about it being in the country.

When you receive the package, it will show that it was posted from within the country. But the time it took from the day it was marked as posted, to the day it arrives, doesn't add up. I suspect, the seller orders it themself from overseas, and then forwards it to you. The item doesn't ship directly from overseas to your address. It is being double posted.

In the end, you pay australian prices, but the service took just as long to receive as buying it from overseas. They took the piss out of you at your expense.

I wish I was so easily amused.

  • Thanks. I like having different types of these cables to use with Android auto in the cars. They can be finicky with what cable they want to work with so it's good to have a few different brands and models.

    • Any particular cable that you can recommend for android auto? Used to works with samsung cable, but sold my samsung along with the cable. And i tried other two chinese brand and spotify keep stuttering and/or android auto keep disconnecting.

      • So far I've had good luck with the Blitzwolf BW-TC19. It's a 5A cable like this orico one, and I was thinking that could be the trick.

It's a real struggle because my partner and I have different phones and finding one that works with both is tricky. But that works so far in my car.

Getting a new car soon and hopefully won't have issues ๐Ÿคž

        • Thanks. Will try this one โ˜๏ธ

  • Awesome! Got 4 for $2.09 using new user coupon.

  • Can anyone comment on quality of these cables? How do they compare with blitzwolf and baseus cables?

    • You'd have to compare it to another 5A cable to be more fair. They're not braided though.

      • +1

You'd have to compare it to another 5A cable

how is it compared to another 5A cables?

        • Link me some :)

    • Probably come in 3rd, but not far behind. Certainly a top tier cable.

    • I don't know if these are USB-IF certified. Blitzwolf and Baseus are safe to use.

$14 at PLE, good deal got 4, no use case for me

lots of reviews on this listing

  • Maybe dumb question but can this support 100w?

    • +2

      You'd be wanting a USB-C to USB-C cable for PD 100W.

    • Technically it can if the voltage is 20v or higher. I've never heard of a USB cable that isn't PD running at such high wattage though.

What will you use it with.?

  • Seem to be getting the full price ($USD 3.59) when trying to add to cart after opening through cashrewards. Anyone else? Still a great price so won't use cashback this time.

    • Have you got the free shipping Cainiao Super Economy Global selected?

      • Wasn't an option for more than 1 cable? All good though, just bought it without CR

  • +1

For some reason it only cost me 23c AUD; well i take it.

    • New user promotion probably

      • no. this purchase is the 3rd order.

  • I'm wondering if these will work with OnePlus dash charge?

  • wonder how many people who voted that they'd boycott china, jumped on this deal ๐Ÿ˜‚

    • Did you vote to boycott China? ๐Ÿ˜‰

      • -1

nope, did not vote. frankly, I only care about bargains/deals/low prices ;)

would've jumped on this if I didn't have enough cables but ive got wayyyyyyy too many

        • -1

That's the way I see it. I'm in the same boat with USB-C cables, though lately I've been needing Micro USB and don't seem to have any.

  • Thanks great deal. Now need a deal on a wall adaptor that supports Huawei supercharge

  • Now 1.34 USD. Party over?
