I am from Apple Ecosystem, own MacBook Pro, Mac Air(partner), iPhones(both me and my wife).
For this new year, I don't want to pay for Made in China product as we all have lost so much due to wuhan virus.
I just want to know what are the options we have and what others think about Made in China Products
Options: Samsun , Pixel
New Year Resolution: Should I buy iPhone that is Made in China?

There's over 700 parts that go in a phone. Even if phones are made in S Korea or Vietnam, the parts still come from Mainland China…
It'll take time, 5-10+ years some say to be independent from China's chains.
For example, India is planning to dominate the smartphone market. They can make phones. But the raw materials to make basic parts, as well as complicated parts, still come from China: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2M5buYRocsM
Continue to buy non-Chinese products (better than nothing). But don't think the parts aren't from China.
And India is better why? Do you much about Modi and his autocratic government?
And India is better why?
That's not the point of my post, it's not about which country is better.
There's no such thing as a good country.
iPhone - Designed in California
Assembled in China
;)
Greed: popularised in America but made in England.
Most brand names made in China are designed elsewhere
But China retains the rights to use (thieve) the technology
So dumb move to manufacture in China really
Short term gain - Long term pain!
I think MOST PHONES are now made in China
But anyway here is your answer:
Asus (Taiwan)
Samsung (South Korea)
LG (South Korea)
Sony (Japan)https://mobilityarena.com/smartphones-not-made-in-china/
https://techthelead.com/five-top-shelf-phones-that-are-not-m…
I will buy everything from China because that where I can find most of the decent quality with afford price.
Iphone is assembled in China so what yob on abou
wuhan virus? really. trump count down to 11 days

You should boycott Chinese products for any reason but the coronavirus outbreak since the origin is not really their fault. However you are right in doing so if your reason is related to China jailing a journalist who covered the outbreak early on, or the CCP using the outbreak for political leverage.
Boycott them for their human rights violations such as putting millions into "re-education" camps, not ensuring appropriate working conditions and pay in factories, undermining Hong Kong's legislative system, threatening Taiwan's autonomy, threatening its neighbours and trade partners, claiming ocean in the South China Sea, denying their citizens free access to information, Tiananmen Square, and the ongoing diplomatic and political tensions. One good example is the foreign minister posting a comic to Twitter depicting an Australian soldier committing a war crime.
If you want a phone made elsewhere, your only choice seems to be Samsung which designs its phones in South Korea and assembles them in Vietnam. That doesn't mean some components aren't from China.
An alternative is to buy a Sony Xperia 1 off Gumtree, which is made in Thailand. I can see 2 in NSW and Victoria.
