Should be $299 when pocket 3 came out.
Non combo is little over $500
Was 710 just a few days ago on catch off the digidirect store. And has been 711 a few times from the '20% off' eBay deals. Looks like price is steadily going down though which is good and you aren't in desperate need of it right now.
I had the original Pocket, and it was awesome. The stabilisation was really good and the footage looked really nice (I had the PolarPro ND filters as well for that cinematic look). I was just not using it enough because my phone was capturing equally good video and was always with me. This definitely needs to be under $500 to be more appealing. I think the moment they start putting in > 1 inch sensors in action cameras, actions cams will kill the Osmo Pocket off. I much prefer the action camera form factor (more rugged). One really good tip I have for users of the Osmo Pocket is storing these in spectacle cases - they fit really well and the case protects it from snapping in your bag.
The fair price is anything below 700 IMO, all features considered.
The accessories, i would genuinely value at 250, regardless of brand; wifi and bluetooth module and a wireless mic, plus a lens? Not bad on any video camera.
$450 is a fair price for the pocket 2.
About twice the price of a Fimi Palm, with about 1.5x the performance.
At the moment i use an osmo action + a gimbal.
Im actually surprised its not way cheaper, considering the lack of world travel.
Probably why its dropping.
Still, will buy soon.
Drop below $700 and you can have my money.
The Bangood deal a few days ago for the pocket was a pretty good deal, although they didn't have the Creator Combo version.
Does anyone know whether you can buy the Creator accessories separately?
Yes you can.
Core electronics is one place i know that stoc ks them.
I'd so snap this up if it was <$500. Maybe in a few years.
