Was looking at hotels in Sydney for Valentine's Weekend and came across this discount at The Establishment Hotel. $694 for 2 nights, or $347 a night.

For that special weekend, this is quite the hotel at quite the price. Every source I have is showing that it's a massive reduction (54-59%), and for a weekend where booking/agoda are showing 64% of rooms booked already across Sydney.
The price I see above can be increased slightly when you click through if you want free cancellation, if worried about covid, and includes breakfast, and is for a studio room, although there are also great reductions on their more expensive rooms too if looking for something a bit more special. I looked at their website where rack rate for the duplex penthouse is $1200, and even for that the price seems to be reduced ~12%.
Hope this helps someone!
From their website:
The world doesn’t always revolve around you, but it can for just one night… or maybe more if you like. Hidden down Bridge Lane, nestled amidst hole in the wall bars, lively cafes and above some of Sydney’s best restaurants like Mr. Wong and sushi e, Establishment Hotel is the perfect place to discover the city in style.
A historic building by its bones but boutique in its looks, this 31-suite hotel has a close-knit team to keep it humming. Once a prestigious publishing house in the 1930s, rustic beams, soaring ceilings and cast iron fixtures retain its rare character. Sophisticated and spacious guest suites with cutting edge comforts bring it into the 21st century with applause.
In the heart of the city, we don’t bat an eye at taking advantage of our location, and neither should you. Stroll to the Opera House, explore the Rocks or wander through the Botanical Gardens, they’re all within walking distance. Take a tipple or two at one of our many surrounding bars before hitting one of our restaurants. Don’t worry, we’ll sort you out with the best seat in the house before you have the best sleep in the city.

Probably ‘just’ worth $347 a night. Definitely not worth more!!
