      Thanking with a neg?

      • +1

I'm not sure, as any community grows the more we will see this kind of negativity, I don't visit r/Australia for this reason.

I hope we keep the OZB spirit going.

I upvote your posts all the time Dealbot. I believe this post is a shill, since all the titles are along the same lines and written by the same person. A free eBook is only a good deal if someone would actually pay for it.

  • I like free books.

@htc … as a now retired bookseller (old skool bricks'n mortar) Free, "Free" and books you actually pay for all deserve the same chance and leave the objective assessment to the individual reader, imho.

When I sold the J.K. Rawling's first Happy Potter novels I was criticised by all kinds of weirdos, conspiracy theorists, extreme Christian fundamentalists, etc… I guess the final judgement was made by the people who bought them.

My only thought at the time was that if a child were to pick up and read them, make their own assessment and be satisfied enough to try other books, then that was a good thing…

  • Looks like most of these have expired now OP.

    Thanks anyway
