Been looking for a super zoom. This, or Canon SX740 for $430, or Nikon A1000 for $289?
Quality matters a lot, you will get what you pay for. Very poor image quality.
Never recommend fz80 for anybodyNikon A1000 for $289 JB deal was already expired. Unless you know there is a current one?
I bought but haven't pick up yet because I read that the image quality is poor too. I can still pick up, or return, so deciding what I should do next.
I'm looking for some cameras that'll work well with an Atem mini Pro Switcher. The switcher scales everything down to 1920x1080 so there's little point in getting anything higher than a camera like this. I understand this camera does a clean HDMI out. It's looking like the best option. I know I'm thinking out loud a bit here but am I missing anything?

Before buying knew the limitations of this camera (small sensor etc.)
Very poor image quality
Fortunately, returned and got a refund through Amazon.
If you really after this, just goto a store ie. Jbhifi, and test the camera before you buy. Consider buying if you happy afterwards..
