Prams are more of a status symbol than a car these days
Real status symbol for parents would be two-three nannies following behind when going out and have one of them holding the bub in arms.
Solid refraining bro. :)
cost more than my computer and car…
These look nice enough, for the price though you'd expect motorized wheels with hill assist and auto anti-roll for downhill. I'm sure you can get fancier ones for this money.
This fashion started from Bugaboo. My first child used Cameleon and was really great - sold it on eBay with about $500 loss. 2nd baby used a $150 pram which was great too. Our favourite was a Maclaren Quest foldable which given to us for free. So tough - Jeep in prams.
We were at the 'pregnancy and baby expo' last month. I think I inspected prams from around 8 different vendors. Even with expo discounts all their prices were around the 1500 mark.
Multifunction? What other functions does it have?
Grocery shopping.
Just like every other pram.
Stops you from eating for a month as you've no money left.

I will refrain from commenting on such price for this type of item. Nor am I going to mention that they cost almost the same as my first car in this country.
