A few dollars cheaper than the previous deal during EOYF, but this time with free delivery excl WA/NT making it even better for Officeworks price match. Deal link is my receipt from price matching at Officeworks (scanned on my phone, that's not the scan quality of the printer!) as ITsWisdom links are banned for sockpuppeting.

  • Static Ice: Cheapest is $259.17 from Megabuy but it is "Online Only". Delivery costs $30.95. Next cheapest is $268 from SkyComp

  • Officeworks: Currently $298 with limited stock showing in stores. When I called up OW Coburg, then had just received 4. You can try the Officeworks stock checker tool but it was last updated Nov 29.

  • ITsWisdom: $261 with "Availability: In Stock". I know that on the website it even shows a thumbnail with "Sold Out" and in the description "STOCK BACK ON 6/03", but Officeworks didn't seem to care as long as they could add it to cart. They must have assumed like I did that ITsWisdom didn't bother to update the product description once it was back in stock? Shipping is covered in the Shipping & Returns tab: "Shipping charge of $6.95 apples to all orders below $50.00. We also charge flat freight fee to distant destinations, including WA and NT; for T&C please click here."

As always when price matching and paying at Officework, use zip/gift cards/etc for an even better deal. I'll be racking up some demerit points on my Ozb license for not using them on this purchase.. but it's a great printer by all accounts and I was after something with duplex ADF scanning

    wow coburg. there is a nice aquarium shop there ! so jealous you can go to pickup some fishes

      Yeh, I prefer going in store to price match with the site loaded on my phone already. Coburg was a bit of a drive for me but well worth it! Never had fish as pets so I'll take your word on the aquarium :)

      My argument was that the stock listing shows "Availability: In Stock" and you can add it to cart on the website so they probably just forgot to remove that thumbnail (there's another one of just the printer with no "Sold Out" on it). Worked for me, so hopefully will work for others too

    I bought the Brother MFC-L2710DW which is exactly the same although is $50 cheaper since it doesn't have the fax function which might not be important for many people.

    Manage to price beat at keysborough victoria, showed they had 0 in system however two brand new box sitting at the printer aisle, now 1 left.
    Counter person didn't believe me so I had to grab the box to the counter…
    This was about 30mins ago since time of comment
