  I tried the 70S5, wrote about it one the last deal. Backlight was uneven around the edges, worst LCD picture I think I've ever seen since 2005.

    Yikes that sounds awful! We haven't experienced any of that with our Hisense ranges yet. Hopefully just a one off issue!

      Are you saying that the light produced by the panel is the same intensity right to the edge on the 70S5s you are selling?

      On mine, it went low/dull around the last 70mm or so to each of the panel's four edges.

      Does the backlight control make much difference to the brightness of the ones you have in store?
