If you're going to buy the uncensored version via a VPN, you might as well buy the L4D Bundle for only a few dollars more which comes with both L4D and L4D2.

US bundle link: http://store.steampowered.com/sub/2487/?cc=us
My second steam account that I used UK VPN to buy a L4D 2 4 pack is now banned. Steam says I've breached the conditions of the store, and been exploiting something. So far only the account that bought it has been banned, the other 3 accounts seem to be fine.
Warning to all.
I've purchased a few games from both the US and UK stores via VPN's on a single account and haven't ever had any issues. Maybe it's worth the extra bit of time to create a second Steam account then gift the games to your main account though.
Use a second account and gift it. Using one account ad vpns to buy is just asking for trouble.
For all those wondering what to get, Both games are great
Left 4 Dead is an amazing game to play, however it gets stale quickly (i've played the game for around 300 hours now). Its super fun if you have friends to play it with, else if you play one of the game modes (versus) expect to be kicked, grieved and pub stomped (versing clans/teams). Other than that it's a great game well worth the 5 bucks however updates for the game tend to take along time to come out for some reason. (great game if you have friends)
Killing Floor I can't say much i purchased it yesterday and must say I'm amazed at it, you can pick up and play the game with ease, community seems to be alright and the updates for the game come out frequent (very alive community). For it's price definitely worth it, in my honest opinion i think its one of the most underrated games ever, I will definitely be playing it for a LONG time, even more then Left 4 dead - My only regret is not picking it up earlier (great game if you like to play alone or with friends)
Two very different games, comes down to what you like Left 4 Dead 2 is more PvP orientated (with versus) and Killing Floor is more PvE, If i had to choose one i would go for Killing Floor mainly because the amount of content the developers are making for it (free content, only pay for cosmetic skins)
Enjoy :)
what is PvP and PvE?
also does KF have melee?
and what's the character pack bundle? worth it?
PVP = Player Vs Player
PVE = Player Vs Enviroment
The character pack are just skins for you to use so you look different to everyone else.. it's purely aesthetic
I only posted two… and if you're going to say Oblivion and these two games are not good, well, go back and play your MW3.
Thanks, great deal. Already got it but gifting it for a few friends so we can play together D:
I would highly recommend AGAINST buying this unless you have the ability to order the US or UK one.
The low gore one is very very poor experience…
Youtube it and you will see.
Keep in mind if bought in AU this will be the low gore version of Left 4 Dead 2. This will change once the R18 rating goes through but worth noting. If you want the uncensored edition now use a UK VPN or hack a couple files in the game.
Still a great game so +1!
