In the market for 85 inch TV. Missed the black friday Samsung deal. Not the cheapest though. Costco listed price is $4880. Saving of $600.

4k 120hz HDR, so no.
Most of it is 4k HDR anyway, but I was not thinking about gaming (120 hz)… So yes, for gaming TVs may be better I suppose.
Correction, there are 120hz+ projectors as well, I just never felt the need for that. E.g. https://www.amazon.com.au/Optoma-GT1080HDR-Projector-Refresh…
Only outputs at 1080p though
@Aethelbert: I know, but it's only half the price and 50% more size (120 inch). That was just something that popped out at me, I am not in the market for a 120hz, just a normal hz projector.
So not going to do a full research…@Musiclover: You are not going to buy a better image quality 4k projector for $2k.
@plmko: Probably not and it was not the point. The point was you are going to buy the same (if not better) image quality and much bigger screen in case of a projector for the same price.
Is this even an OLED screen? Or just an IPS?
Maybe only if you want the size and live in permanent darkness, but a tv will be a better and easier day to day device.
Yes as I have an epson with all the. Bells n whistles
Cost me 1400 was 3000 and only costs $125 for new glob after 6000 hours or so I have min set at 120” aso mine works in daylight better then any tvHard to believe any projector would work better in daylight than tv. Keep dreaming matey.
I own this TV and have also had several different home theatre projectors previously. When it comes to picture quality between the two, you and your delusional $1400 Epson genuinely have absolutely no idea.
Just stating the facts
😂😂😂😂😂😂 Call specsavers
Anyone know if they’re doing a deal on the 75?
That was last weeks deal - not sure when/if it has eneded it was $2839
Cheers, hopefully I can find something on the 75 soon!
Ah bugger I missed that one… no good deals on 65 or 75 inch anywhere so I might try my luck negotiating
I managed to grab one today at JBHifi for $2950. Had to negotiate, the sticker price was 3495 and there was no special for the 75, for both the x9000 and x9500. I used my 28degrees price protection so it should have me covered if the price drops again. I did goto Costco before JB, it was advertised for 3179 at Costco.
Still regret on missing out on the 11.11 deal at JB . It's was $4000
Was it for 85 inch?
11/11 sale at JB was 11% off everything so the 85 would have been close to 4000
Is there a deal on the 65?
How much is the Samsung tv next to it and what is the discount?
Its 55" UA55TU8000W.
Price $990. Saving of $150.
Sweet thanks!
I can't find any reference to this on the Costco website. Is there a link?
Good price. How does these compare to the Hisense ULED with 3 year warranty ?
https://www.binglee.com.au/hisense-85q8-85-series-q8-uhd-sma…It’s not listed on Costco website not in emails
It was in yesterday’s email.
I too am curious though as I haven’t seen it in my store before, and as you say it’s not on the website either.
It wasn’t on my email . Maybe it’s only in certain states
I am in NSW, got the email yesterday.
@kcool_00: Just got the email last night and it’s a warehouse only deal so not listed on website for purchase . Just went and got one today as jb hifi would match but have no stock anywhere in Victoria and could take a few months to get back in
@Ldavies: Great…Do share your experience about the TV?
Isn't it better to buy a good ultra short throw projector for that kind of size?
