  • Best check out DSE online for Gears 3 :)

  • GOW 3 is way cheaper at DSE!

    • Not now. The deal at DSE has expired.

I had brink in my hands today and still decided against it. Too many good games out yo waste time on trash. Good prices in there at the moment though. Suprised you're going so far under cost though, lol.

    • Wise choice not to buy Brink. It is truly awful. And yes, with those prices (and other recent prices) you have to wonder how GAME is making any money. I can't see that they are. I reckon they'll have another Insane sale in Jan or Feb and we'll be able to buy plenty of old pre-owned games for $10 or so.

      • Do not buy Brink.
Terrible game, lacks polish and more importantly players!

the GoW3 at DSE deal has expired.

  • I got Mario 3D for 48 bucks from toysrus. Also brink ain't worth it.

Also to be fair, not all Game deals are crap, just the ones in the 10 day sale. I was quite pleased to pick up Red Faction Guerrilla on PC for $4 delivered :)

  • Darnit! The LOTR WITN pack isn't the one with the quiver :-(

  • These prices are okay but not great.

The games I want are pretty much the same price on Steam. Since Game keep deleting my reward points there isn't much incentive for me to buy from them instead of from Steam. I lost 5000 points last time, haven't bought from them since.

    • Thanks for your comment - sorry to hear about your issues with us. Have you tried submitting a Customer Service Enquiry through our website? Alternatively, feel free to contact [email protected] - we'd love to help you out!

      • Yeah I did. I got ignored, twice.

Like I said before, I'm happy just buying from Steam.
Game staff stuff me around too much if I have an issue with anything, the games are expensive, trading games is such an effort now, changing prices on pre-orders I've already paid for in full, non-existent support so far, I could go on but I'll stop here. My point is, I don't get any of that with Steam. The only problem I've ever had got fixed within 4hrs of sending the first (of only two) email(s). I'm really impress with them for many different reasons. More often than not, Game fails to make me want to shop there.
You'd have to offer something pretty big to get me back. Somehow I don't see you doing that…

yup ripped off customer game points - failed to issue vouchers due before downgrade - add in increasing pre order prices after paid for, altering pre-order bonus's after paid for, and arguing about gamers guarantee and you have another eb games type company - a comment which the mew management probably believe is a plus for the company. Quite a racket now games retailing in Oz -especially since Gametraders died.

    • The scary thing is, that's almost an insult to EB.

    • Hi Enforcer103, our team are constantly looking to serve our customers better, though sometimes (due to circumstances beyond our control), promotional offers or pre-order prices do need to be changed. Our standard refund policy still applies to any affected orders, and we're happy to help where necessary!
Please contact us if you have any specific queries.
