Interestingly I was looking at this plan and there's another deal of unlimited data popped up at OZB.
$35/Month Unlimited Mobile Plan (up to 20Mbps) @ Felix Link, also on Vodafone network, but on 4G/3G.

So the difference is the max speed 50GB (5G enabled) each month, (or 60GB/$40 or 100GB/$45)
After that, you'd be better off on the Felix plan 20Mbps where this Vodafone one is capped on 2Mbps.
Choose your needs.

Also Cashrewards has 65% on month to month sim only Vodafone plans at the moment.

    Too late. Already posted

  • Would this work in an iPad as just a data sim?

    • +1

Yes it would, but only on 4/3G

  • Funny that they say tethering only to your personal devices? Any reason this won't work in a MBB unit?

Also, they show other discounts like $5 off per month or an extra 40GB if you stay with them.

Man, compared to the USA, AU's mobile/wifi/internet is incredibly cheap.

    • What is MBB unit?

        May be MacBook Bro 😅

      • I assume Mobile Broadband portable modem

  • This is probably a better deal if you're data hungry. $40 for 200GB. A quick Facebook search will find an IBO number and you're away.

Amaysim has slow speed of 4G. I tested at sam spot with telstra.

It varies where you are. You can't just say it's slow in general because that's not true. Where I am it works reliably and fast for our home and that's with multiple streams happening with other devices connected and operating.

      • I find they vary alot. excellent in certain parts of 3051, shite in parts of 3070

  • I thought ACCC didn't allow this stuff
