I've been loyal to OnePlus but I'm leaning towards Xiaomi this time around.
Xiaomi has ~10% better performance.
But OnePlus has 36ms (gtg) response time vs the Xiaomi at 52ms (gtg)
OnePlus has 90hz but Xiaomi has 120hz
Xiaomi has 8gb extra usable storage, both have 512gb sd card expandability though.
Xiaomi has a slightly better camera apparently.
Need help deciding. Is the Xiaomi worth the extra $100?

I've had a Mi Max 3 for 2 years now and it is flawless. Never had a One+ but sure they're good.
What about OS? Does the Xiaomi use MIUI? What is on the One+?
If the specs are almost the same, I'd be looking at things like that…or whatever other criteria you have. Mine was screen size.

Both seem very similar to stock Android.
Do you get ads with Xiaomi?
No ads but a bit of random chinese notifications from core apps I just dismiss. Only one every few weeks. I never bothered to put it on the global rom.
