Download the economist app for Ipad or Iphone and download this weeks edition with a 99c in-app purchase. Normally about $6.

The deal might be available for the android app too but I don't have an android device to try it out on.

This seems to have been offered every week for a couple of months now. I wonder if they have realised the same thing the app developers did - that you are better selling 10 apps at 99c than 1 app at $5. I hope they make it permanent.

The new edition comes out each week Thursday night so is ready for us to ready Friday morning AU time.

      Not sure what your point is - the app and editors highlights are always free - this deal is for an in-app purchase of the entire edition for 99c.

        Am not making a point. Just pointing out that the free app is available to few devices on Android. The deal isn't.
