    I’d pick Dometic over this.

    Higher quality build and +1year warranty over this.

      He must be asking about older model Dometics. CFX3 is ~three times the price and in a different class to this.

      Evakool surprisingly hasn't published specs for this, which is their budget line. Apparently the instructions say compressor is "based" on a secop - probably a Chinese copy.

      This is a very good price for a basic fridge.

        Says in the Q&A at the bottom it has a Danfoss compressor. And Danfoss is now Secop.

          @doddles: Possibly, but that's a Repco response. I'd ask Evakool directly if you were thinking of buying one and concerned. There's not much tech to these compressors but thin/cheap wiring and parts might reduce longevity IF it's a rip-off. The guy who bought one (link at bottom) was the source of my comment re "based on".
