Pretty sure they have been this price @ Amazon AU for awhile: https://www.amazon.com.au/Marshall-Minor-Bluetooth-Headphone…

I would feel better buying from JB though since there are a lot of fake Marshall products in the market.

    • Pretty spot on about the suggestion to buy from JB Hifi. It is so difficult to buy a genuine marshall product now a days.

      • One suspicious thing from Amazon listing: “Manufacturer - Aqipa Australia PTY LTD”.
I thought manufacturer would be “Marshall”, maybe this is how they can legally sell the fakes.
I checked the other Marshall products on Amazon AU, they say the same thing.

I searched “Aqipa Australia” and the google reviews were pretty terrible. Even one ex employee was leaving a review saying “avoid doing business with this company”.
Could be upset they got fired, but when you read something like that you feel like avoiding.

Edit: I just checked now there is one saying “if you are a supplier avoid”, but there was another very long detailed terrible review about their experience working there and it’s gone, looks like deleted.
From memory the google review rating was 1.5 stars, now it’s 3.5.

They are the distributor for Marshall in Australia and supply to JB HiFi too. You are better off getting it from JB and let them deal with any potential RMA.

            @moonpen: Ok thanks for sharing.

Just when listing Manufacturer as Aqipa, makes you think Aqipa is going to deal with it, and Marshall has zero connection with product (possible fakes).

            Just to give you idea:

I read a reddit post by a chinese local which listed some examples of the ‘direct from factory’ fakes being sold on the street.
            https://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/9jt2j7/fakes_or…

The list of brands included Marshall, Sennheiser, Shure.

And from the comment below the post:
By a VERY long stretch it sounds like it could be legitimate, but based the huge price difference for big brands there's just no way the products are genuine.

That said, some of their copies are very very very good, e.g. they really nailed down the sound signature of the IE80 and IE800, and if they branded the AKG K3003i themselves instead of making a copy, I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

So in some cases the fakes are so good, that they even sound like the real thing. So I guess in some examples customers will be ok with it. But maybe build quality & product longevity worse with fakes.

  • Ear-fit system
Minor II Bluetooth has an innovative ear-fit system with an adjustable loop for an optimised and ergonomic fit that rests lightly in your ears.

Does this mean that there are actual, physical loops which secure the earbud to the outer ear? Looking for that for my daughter who works in a print shop and needs something that definitely won't fall out.

    Cheers!

    • I think they are just extra loops which press against the ‘inner’ part of your outer ear.
Read some reviews from the Amazon link I commented above, some saying they are uncomfortable and also still fall out.

    • Okay. I played with these for few hours. These have amazing sound. I initially did not really understand how to wear this. Based on what I read in the reviews and saw on youtube, most people got the wearing wrong.
I initially felt my ears did not need any looping. I wore them as it is. They felt very uncomfortable.
After some more playing around, I realized the looping going into the ears is important.
Once I figured out how to wear these using the loop, they were nice and comfortable.
