[PC] Anno 1800 $14.68 (after $15 Coupon) (Was $89.95) @ Epic Games

940

Cheapest I have ever seen this game for Australian Epic Store, without the need of a VPN.

Complete Edition: with All DLC $59.97 after $15 coupon (normally $149.95), just adds some buildings and scenarios, base game is huge and worth playing without DLC if you can't afford it. All at the same link.

This should also work, stacking coupons: Standard ($29.68 - $15 coupon 1) + Season 1 DLC Pack $18.47 + Season 2 DLC Pack ($29.56 - $15 coupon 2) = $47.71 AUD

Requires a Uplay account and installation to activate.

Once activated Epic Games no longer required.

Welcome to the dawn of the Industrial Age. The path you choose will define your world. Are you an innovator or an exploiter? A conqueror or a liberator? How the world remembers your name is up to you.
In Anno 1800, players will take charge of their own fortune as they navigate the rapidly evolving technological landscape and malicious political arena of the 19th century in their quest to build an empire that will reach from the smog-filled cities of Europe to the teeming jungles of South America.

Metacritic 81% https://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/anno-1800

This is why I don't mind waiting.. So many other games are waiting it will probably become free by the time I get around to it if I ever do.

And this is the complete edition I am talking about.

It's your choice, but I think I pay for the time. I want this game ready when I actually have time to play and I believe this game worth way more than $14.68 :)

        • +1

          To each their own.

It is definitely a good game I just wanna collect them all and I am learning you can always go lower and lower and lower until it is finally even free sometimes for the deluxe or complete edition.

That saved money can go to other stuff like electricity and newer parts :)

          • @AlienC: That sounds great, too!

            • +1

@Clydee: It is in the long run ultimately collecting everything when they reach free or like pennies is the ideal situation.

Don't worry the game companies will usually make a ton of money from the early adopter fanbase aka the full pricers and play within few month users then they just give it away after they make their quick run just like the movies.

So the longer you wait the more chance it will basically be given to you it's just up to whatever you feel like everyone's situation is different.. just have a good time :)

    Oh yes!

  • fine for $15 you got me ubisoft, purchased.
    thanks.

  • beauty!

Best to wait until all the freebies get unlocked, just in case the base game is one of them!

    • Thats actually a good idea

    • In the past, they have then refunded the game.

    • for $15 its worth paying and supporting them

      • -3

They are a billion dollar corporation, not our friends.
They do not need your support.

    • Sorry what does this mean exactly? Pay the $15 later when the all DLCs are free? I dont think you mean the base game will become free

  • I love the drone footage of the ancient city in the trailer.

  • Awesome game

I got this on Black Friday if you really enjoy city builders with production systems (like Sim City 2013 without the problems that game has).

So much content in the base game and the DLCs seem to add more, definitely worth a buy!

  • Metro Exodus is A$8.58, you get another coupon after each purchase.

  • RIPPA OP! I almost bought it for $26 the other day too. Nice work!

  • Can't seem to get the game installed. installed Ubisoft Connect and logged into epic games and no idea how to install the game. Any pointers or step by step help?

    • +1

      Try following these steps https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/Article/000064420/Linking-…

It helps if you have Uplay already installed and logged in both the app AND in your browser.
Also have Epic games installed and logged in, both the app AND in your browser.
Then try launching Anno 1800 once it is downloaded.

People on Reddit say the trick is to be logged into uplay and epic in your browser and in the apps before you start.

Failing that, try uplay or epic support.

      • I have assassin's creed odyssey gold edition on epic but only the base assassin's creed odyssey got activated on my uplay account with the link up, not sure how to get the DLC to activate from epic to uplay as it all comes up as not owned. Do you have any tips for it?

  • Awesome :D

been waiting for a good price on this game

Edit: it auto applies the 15%

  • I can't seem to add both DLC Packs to my cart and claim the second coupon. Need to purchase 1 at a time. Am I missing something?

    • Yes. Try purchasing one at a time.

  • Is Standard Edition good enough?

    • Very much yes. The DLC doesn't add huge amounts of content, the base game has plenty to keep you playing for eons.

      • Thanks

  • So many issue with failing to get Ubisoft verification, (I have installe Unisoft connect and have both running).
    Reset PWs, restarted computer, etc
    Any recommendations?

    • +1

All i know from reading online is both your uplay account, epic account and current IP Address must all match the same country i.e Australia. Make sure you are not using any VPN and try the links and steps in this comment https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/9834895/redir

      • Finally got it working, thanks

  • Do you get to go to war with Napoleon? .. or you build empires from scratch and take on other economy builders?

  • +1

Not sure about the price of the base game but that's not very cheap for the complete edition. I bought it Dec 3rd from gamebillet for $30.74usd which is $40 Australian

  • When i play this game it uses more than 20GB's of system ram. 16GBs is not enough :)

Great game but they really screwed it up with how you need to go to the new world to be able to advance.. the games great apart from that. it made me stop playing and uninstall it after many fun hours.

You need minerals from a whole other map to keep progressing and those minerals are so hard to get back to your main base and enough of them that it kills it.

This game is a damn slog without mods solely because of the sh*t trade route system.

Install this and you will have a much better time https://www.nexusmods.com/anno1800/mods/15

  • $32 AUD complete edition if you have done the dodgy "VPN to make an Indian account" route.
